The only reason I went was because we had a large number of heavy blankets and comforters that needed washed. I ran into the same issue some other reviewers have mentioned which is that the soap was not added to the load by the machine. I would suggest just adding it directly to the washer instead of using the feeders be quite frank. Or, if you have the luxury, I would suggest washing your clothes at home and then using their large dryers.(The large washers are also about 10 bucks a load, while the large dryers are only about $.75)

Ive been going here for around 2 years. Here is my take on it: The cons: The change machines are always braking down. Sometimes you go in and the only change machine that is working is the $ 20 one(yes you get $ 20 in change back but all at once). I have noticed there are a lot of washers that dont wash right. The soap and or softener end up in another washer. I noticed this when there was little to no soap on the wash cycle, the soap went in on the rinse cycle, and/or there was already watered down fabric softener in the washer when i went to put my dirty clothes in it. If I add my own fabric softener… both the old and new that i put in go down the drain… like there is some kind of backup or something and adding softener releases it. Also, a couple of times i got mexican coins instead of quarters. They dont keep change of any kind on site so dont ask for your money back. Youll never get it. The pros: the lady working there is very nice and really tries to keep the place clean. Its never been un-safe. Ive never had anyone try to steal my clothes. If it werent for the lady working there i think this place would go to shit. I dont think its her fault she cant give change back. Maybe its not safe to keep money there… or the owner doesnt allow it.idk. The owner needs to step up and fix shit though before it gets so bad nobody wants to do their laundry here. As much as I like coming here… i dont like bringing my clothes home and finding out they are still dirty because the washer did not use the soap.

I finally had to break down and use a laundromat– that being said, I don’t have any thing to compare this one to. I can say that it wasn’t all that busy(but again, who does laundry on a Saturday night @ 8). The attendant in there was pleasant and kept a watchful eye. Some of the dryers didn’t heat up very well, others got crazy-hot. Maybe that’s just the way it goes. The place was clean and well lighted. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again if I can’t get my washing machine fixed soon.
