SPIN! Neapolitan Pizza

Food was delicious but have to give poor review for service and personality of management. Upon arrival, while standing in the only place you can see the menu on the wall, we were asked if we weren’t ready to move out of the way (no one else around even trying to order or look at the menu) then rushed thru our ordering process. Apparently the manager was using their radios to get the person taking our order to hurry us up. Then had items arrive at our table that sounded slightly like things we had ordered but not what we ordered. We said that wasn’t what we ordered and they left it on the table since it was already opened and charged us again for the item we had ordered. Will eat at Spin again just never this location. It was also very obvious that the manager was more worried about closing in an hour than his customers.

Staying at the Westin, I needed something quick to fill my stomach at 8 pm. Most of the other restaurants were closed but SPIN! was open so I just came here. Overall, their pizza was good enough to satisfy a craving. Glad they had a gluten free option but had to pay 3 $ extra (which I guess is fine). Even without the gluten free option though, the I felt the food was kinda expensive for the value. Had the primavera pizza and they were generous enough with the toppings. Will probably come here again if I have a pizza craving and need a GF option, but otherwise, not really that memorable.

I ordered the Greek Salad. Tasted like wet lettuce. Small portion for $ 7.00 with chicken added. Not worth the price. The low star rating is because of the food not the service.

We love to stop for Happy Hour. Great food very cheap drinks and friendly servers.
Fresh local ingredients are always great.
We went in for a free pizza and salad on my wife’s birthday. Great value and so easy, just sign up for their card and get emails to keep you informed.
It’s in Crown Center so it’s a very convenient location. Always lots of events at Crown Center or near by so go in and get a great value that’s even better at Happy Hour.

The lunch time bar service is extremely slow and manager apologies are nice but don’t make up for a poor experience.

I stopped here for lunch today. I love in Olathe and have been to many different Spin locations and love it! Today though, I was very disappointed. I arrived around noon, there was a party of 10 or so in front of me and I was by myself. After ordering and sitting the waitress was prompt at delivering my drink, but did not see her after that. I observed the party of 10 all drink, eat and leave. Along with many other patrons. Finally, I was able to get my waitress’ attention (only because I asked another waitress to have her come over) and informed her it had been almost an hour and I had not received my food. She went back and checked and informed me they «skipped over» my order. First of all I am a waitress so I understand things happen, but as a waitress she should have paid more attention and noticed that I had been waiting for quite some time while all the other tables had eaten and left. They did not give me my money back, but she did give me a 10 dollars off my next visit. Too bad the lunch special was more than that with tip. It was a complete waste of my time and money. Last but not least, once my food did come out it was sloppy and burnt. Very unfortunate considering I know how great the other locations are.

Decent. The sauce is sweet and they put plenty of toppings on… but the dough wasn’t anything special. They have great mini-​pizza deals if you’re a light eater. Quick & friendly service.
I wouldn’t go out of my way for it, but staying in the Westin, it was convenient in a pinch.

I just had the flatbread dip — red pepper and goat cheese. It was delicious. Plus, the person who took my order (it was to-​go) let me test taste a gelato flavor.
I have to say, the flatbread was really delicious — the gelato though was only average. It was the chocolate mocha — or java mocha… something like that. I’m giving them a 5-​star, though, because the food I actually bought was great.
I ordered another flatbread 2 days ago. It was the hummus one. I do love their price, but I highly recommend the goat cheese over the hummus flatbread.

Love Spin Pizza, but I have to say my first trip to the Crown Center location was a bit disheartening. We hit the height of the lunch hour, so they were very busy, but I watched what appeared to be the manager manhandling both uncooked and cooked pizzas without any gloves. Gross.

Excellent pizza ! I have to eat Gluten free and they had amazing crust! It’s a up charge but well worth it. Very impressive. I loved the pepperoni and mushroom pizza as well as the white prosciutto, spinach and fig. The tea was quite bad. Otherwise great meal and friendly staff

I’ve ate at many Spins before, but this was my first experience at this location. My mother and I ate lunch here and each ordered a different type of crust. When delivered, they had no idea which one was which. This is a huge issue if someone can’t eat gluten! The manager came out, looked at them, and told us that the one that is wheat will taste like honey but didn’t really know either. The food was not bad (alone would’ve got 3 – 4 stars) but the staff was under-​trained. The exception is the girl at the cash register, she was pleasant and helpful.

My family of six ate here about 1:00 in the afternoon last week. It was somewhat busy, but we were seated about 5 minutes after ordering. There was only one very slow moving, not very friendly server on the floor. She wandered the room looking for table markers to deliver food and drinks. Perhaps it was her first day, but she certainly needed more training. Our drinks arrived in 10 minutes, minus straws, which took another 5 minutes. The food was served 35 minutes later. I had the #18. The crust was very good, but otherwise the pizza was dry. I think the salad was ready at the time I ordered, but after setting for 35 minutes before being served it was completely wilted and overly dressed. The other pizzas were semi warm. I was disappointed as it was my first visit, probably won’t need a second visit.

Customer service was nothing short of amazing. Took care of me and super friendly. Places with management and employees this great are so few. Will definitely be giving my service to this company for time to come. Thank you spin!

So many choices of pizza and panini that look healthy. We ordered the white pizza and a pepperoni. It took about 20 for are appetizer of hummus and 35 for the pizza. The pizza was cold and cheese was hard. I would choose another location if your in a hurry. The pizza was not to bad so return your pizza if you have the time. If not for there location they would go under.

My first visit to Spin was a positive experience, consisting of a very fresh and promptly served salad followed by a small, perfectly portioned and very tasty pizza on whole wheat crust. You queue up to place your order and pay at the counter and then find a seat where they deliver your meal to you. An overall solid experience worthy of a repeat visit.

Very good pizza, brick oven, fresh mozzarella. Great happy hour, $ 5 Stella 24oz. Friendly staff.

Good solid pizza! I had the three meat pizza and it was very good, plenty of meat. Pepperonis were big, thin, and tasty!
The pizza is thin and I was easily able to finish a 12″ by myself. Not the best pizza I’ve ever had but not bad if you’re near by.

Great customer service. They made a mistake with my order but immediately fix it and made sure that I was satisfied after all. I even didn’t complain for what happened but they did everything they could to make sure I’m leaving happy. Many thanks to Hana, she was great!

Absolutely my favorite spinach salad of all time. I enjoy trying the different craft pizzas, just had a white with garlic and apples. It was surprisingly delicious. The gelato is well flavored but not overly sweet. Gluten free crust is a nice option for folks who require it.

I usually love spin. I have been to the Overland Park and the lees summit locations. Today we tried to stop in to the crowne center location and have a snack as well as a glass of wine. It took 15 minutes for our wine to come and as of this post it has taken 30 minutes for our hummus and flatbread. We will not be returning here. There are so many restaurants to choose from why would we come to a place with such horrific service?

Great pizza place for lunch. I recently started working in the crown center area and was shocked with amazement the first time I tried this place. My co workers frequent this place at least once a week and I will be doing the same. Great pizza and salads and not to mention the gelato is great as well. Service is also excellent, very upbeat and personable staff.

I love Spin Pizza, and have been to the Overland Park, Olathe, and Prairie Village locations — but this Crown Center location might be my favorite! It’s in such a great spot, I can’t wait to come back.
Okay, if you haven’t been to happy hour at Spin, put it on your to-​do list. Mini pizzas and appetizers are on special for $ 3-​$ 5. The flatbread with the dip trio is great! Wine, craft beer, and their three flavors of sangria are also on special. I’m picky about sangria, but I loved it here!
Also, every Spin employee we interacted with was SO NICE. They were friendly, engaging, and provided good service. What a great added bonus.

delicious as always, got the Mia lunch with Eggplant Parmasen, Spinach/​Goat Salad and breadstick. They are fast and so filling. You can even get gelato after if you like, but i passed this time

Wow so we stumbled in at a lunch time rush, super busy… a great sign! But as luck would have the owner (we believe) ended up helping us. He offered up some suggestions and took our order. We landed on personal pizzas w/​a side of soup. Yum! They had the seemingly standard array of local KC brews on tap and pretty decent wines (including the home town Concannon Cab Sauv). Worth a stop if you are in the area!!!

I usually like Spin. I have been to the Lee Summit, Olathe and South Plaza locations and they have all been some of the better pizza in the city. Maybe it is growing pains or maybe its something else but the Crown Center location is definitely not up to par with the rest.
The toppings all seem the same and were fairly good. However, the big difference came to the crust. The crust was not thin like the others are at the other locations. The issue becomes that the crust becomes to overpower the other ingredients. Chicago style pizzas throw loads of cheese and sauce in order for each bite not to just be crust. At this location the extra crust is a little too much.

We took two lunch offers with mini pizzas and tomato soups, and everything was delicious, fresh cooked and right size portions to feel full, but not too much. We paid 21 $ for all what makes this place super good for quick and tasty lunch.

I was really happy when I saw this was to be added to the dining experience at Crown center. Their personal pizza salad or soup combo for 9.45 is one of my favorites. This is a weird quirk for me, not only do I like their gluten free crust but I prefer it over original or wheat. Their crust is good, my fella likes their wheat crust. I’m not a celiac but occasionally I try GF and theirs I like.
Lunch and dinner are so different in crowd size. Lunch was really busy but staff kept the food coming out at a good rate. Dinner was awesome, I don’t like fighting with crowds but I still want really good food, is this too much to ask? Well probably only ¹⁄₃ of the tables were filled at dinner and the food came out lighting fast. We kinda took awhile to order and normally I would never do that but we were the only ones in line and the cashier was so cool. She walked us through a couple new items. My fella once he finds something he likes he sticks to it, almost close to never can I convince him to try anything new but she did it and he loved it.
Their open pizza oven is awesome and turns out some really crispy crust, it’s so good. Toppings were fresh, personal insert, they are not the best pizza in KC but they are still good. I have always appreciated though that they have really good gelato.
