Horrible supermarket! Dirty, disorganized, limited, nothing of good quality nor fresh, EXPENSIVE, always people just loitering around. I have had to go there 4 times because it was the closest thing to m previous place and didn’t want to go too far. Twice I still had to go somewhere else! And each time I have had to clench my purse and check constantly that I haven’t been pick-pocketed because of the fellows that hang in and out. If there is such thing as a zombie apocalypse, I can totally see Snyder’s to be the place where they will come out from.

Absolute dump. You’ll pay prices above all the other local places, with a worse experience. The workers don’t care about you one bit. I’ve stopped coming here out of principle.

You must have caught their«we butcher our own beef» ad. I live in NE and only go in if I have to. Produce selection is terrible. The other supermarkets in NE, Apple Market and Price Chopper are better, but still not up to what you find out of the inner city. Cosentino’s Downtown is a little pricey(gotta pay that P & L rent), but has an very good selection, considering it’s size. I go there when I want to fix a special meal or dish. They do a huge business in prepared foods, it’s about 1⁄3 deli. The new Sun Fresh off 18th and I-70 in KCK is only a 5 minute drive from Downtown and is a real full service supermarket. A big plus is it’s outstanding selection of authentic Mexican foods. They even do their own tortillas on-site.

GHETTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. So, let’s get past that. So, if people that can’t afford expensive markets shop here, WHYISSTUFFSOEXPENSIVE??? Their meat section was quite limited. I think I did every aisle hoping for a surprise. I didn’t get one. Now I know why people say there isn’t a decent market downtown other than Consentino’s in P&L. What sort of market won’t let you take your shopping cart out without a deposit? I should have known on the way in. Huge anti-crime shoplifting signs. Cashier was nice, though :)
