Being a vegan, Mexican food is a pretty easy option for me. I love Chipotle and I know Qdoba is similar. So I tried it. The flavors weren’t there for me. I’m sure it’s great if you eat dairy. But for me everything was so bland and boring. I do like their soda machine!

First the good news… This establishment has a Coke Freestyle machine. Great selection. Now for the bad news… The food. We arrived at 5:00PM. We were told that there was no chicken, and would not be available for 30 minutes. This is fast food? We settled for the beef and ground beef burritos. Both were evidently on the steam table since the lunch rush. They were dried out, crusted over. While there was some flavor beneath the unappetizing mess, the whole experience was a real waste. We will never be back. We’ll take our chances with Chipotle.

Chipotle’s direct competitor except I like them better because they have queso! This Location is on par with Qdoba quality generally speaking however they are much slower than all of the other Qdoba’s I’ve been too but I think that’s to blame on the customers who slow things down.

I had the drunken taco, it is pretty good. Reminds alot of Chipotle. Their corn tortillas are a little tough and the line moved moved pretty slow

Qdoba is a fast-food chain, make no mistake. Please don’t compare it to Mexican eateries! It can be compared to chipotle, but in my honest opinion, it’s better!!! For the most part, it’s got the same set up as chipotle, order at the counter and move down the line adding things to your meal. They have the most popular burrito or burrito bowl(called naked burrito) and they also have taco salads with or without the shell. They also offer nachos, tacos, Mexican gumbo, and they have the one thing chipotle most deeply misses: queso! So give it a try when you are about to try out chipotle and see what you think!

I came here around 11:20am on a Saturday and this place was empty. It was also the same day that the Kansas City Chiefs were playing against the Houston Texans in the wild card playoff game so that could be why nobody was here. The parking lot had a lot of spaces so it shouldn’t be an issue once it’s busy. The only time I went to Qdoba was in Nebraska. I decided to order two burritos with one having the adobo grilled chicken($ 7.80) and the other being grilled steak($ 8.40). I added the three cheese queso in both since I heard that was good. Both burritos were stuffed and one actually tore when the guy was folding it so he got a new wrap. The steak burrito was good and the three cheese queso complemented everything else in my opinion. The adobo chicken burrito was also good and just like I remembered from the other Qdoba location. Both burritos were a good size and should be enough for most people. Good place for burritos!

Stopped in tonight and my wife got a bowl. Service was quick and plenty of options for food. Restaurant was clean and had plenty of seating. Yep we will be back.

We were thrilled when we heard Qdoba was opening in Liberty and from the traffic there looks like everyone else was in the same boat. Wonderful revamp of a former restaurant space to make it all its own and very inviting. The new knockout tacos are a steal at the price they are for what you get. Still trying to decide which is my favorite so appreciate the pricing structure that allows for changing them out and trying new combos. My son loves the kids meal too.

The menu is very similar to Chipolte. The ingredients are fresh and guacamole is no extra charge. This location is rather slow. I’m not sure if it’s due to being a new location or the lack of staff on the food line. It’s worth the wait. Knockout tacos are the absolute best!!!

I was able to get in and try this place out today. I am glad I did. All I had were two tacos that were loaded with flavor, I tried the«Two Timer» and the«Triple Threat». Tasty with lots of flavor and just the right amount of spice. I will be going back!

Here’s what I got from the food. 4⁄5 chipotle, 1⁄5 Tex mex. I really liked this place. if chipotle is just getting a little boring and dry, this place is really flavorful and inside is more inviting. the burritos are safe bet and and meat you can’t go wrong. Coke freestyle an added bonus! FREECHIPSANDGAUC! So pretty much the same as chipotle but not as dry, QUESO, friendlier, free chips and gauc, more meat options! QDOBA over Chipotle. Check it out, it’ll be worth it!

Really liked this place. It’s a nice change from Chipotle, though I wouldn’t rate it as «better» so much as different. Lots of different options and flavor combinations, plus queso, which I love. :) I had three different tacos, and got a burrito to go. All were pretty great. The store has lots of different options for seating, which would fit groups or solo diners like myself just fine. It was clean and of course in good repair since they just opened. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!

I’m a huge fan of Qdoba and I was excited when I saw that they were opening(re-opening) locations in the Kansas City area. If you haven’t been, the concept is very similar to Chipotle or any of the other fast casual burrito joints. You select burrito, taco, salad, bowl and then select which items you’d like from the line. In my opinion what sets Qdoba apart is the taste and, of course… the queso! Qdoba has apparently gone through a process of re-branding which has included a new look… and I really dig it! I’d describe the look as upscale minimalist. It is very nicely done. And, there are a mixture of seating arrangements, so you can choose whichever is most comfortable for you. Qdoba has also introduced a new concept called Knockout Tacos. I was tempted, but after so long I had to get my old standby… Next time, however, I’m definitely going to try one of the knockout taco options. They look like a great mix of flavors!

I can sum this up with one word, «meh». The food isn’t bad, but it’s not great. In my opinion it is not as good as Chipotle, despite having more options. Unlike at Chipotle, where you know part of the high price tag is due to their higher quality ingredients, there was nothing posted in the restaurant to suggest that Qdoba has the same business model, despite the fact that the prices are very similar. I got two yardbird tacos and a gladiator. I also shared chips with my parnter and got salsa and queso to go with it. The salsa was forgettable and the queso desperately needed jalapenos or some other form of spice. The chips were salty though, which is a plus for me. The tacos were fine, but nothing special. The building itself, which used to be a Schlotzky’s, is set up a little strangely, and while they do have a decent amount of seating I wouldn’t recommend meeting a large group there. I would go back if I was with people who liked it, but Chipotle is my preference over this place. Disclaimer: I am from San Antonio. My opinions on tacos may be harsher than your average midwesterner.

Ate there for lunch and really enjoyed the food. I had the veggie taco and my friend had the chili lime chicken bowl. Excellent blend of flavors with every ingredient fresh, fresh, fresh. Interesting décor with hard metal chairs at the two-tops, a large table and a booth for groups. Staff was very pleasant. Like this more than Chipotle.

I was super excited when I heard they were opening up a Qdoba in Liberty. My first experience with Qdoba was with my fiancé in Colorado. We loved it, and the queso?! Yum! My only critique would be the chicken. I’ve always had the chicken nachos when we were in Colorado, and they’ve never disappointed me. This time the chicken tasted a little different, maybe its because they’re new and still getting the recipes down. The chicken wasn’t bad, just not as good as I’ve had before. Overall I will be back and I’m so glad they’re here!

When my friend mentioned this restaurant opening in Liberty, it was the first I’d heard of the Qdoba chain. A quick-fix Mexican grill similar to Chipotle? Hmm… we’ll see about that! I usually prefer to customize my own burrito bowl, but their knockout tacos caught my eye. Choose 3 for $ 9. Not so bad considering I usually pay that much at Chipotle since I always get guacamole. So of the three tacos I tried, the drunken yardbird was my favorite. The chicken was delicious, and I liked that it was overflowing with guac. The triple threat(grilled steak and bacon) was a little too heavy and salty for me, but that could be because I had it right after the chicken taco. Tough act to follow, you know? I have to say the queso was delicious and could be eaten with chips alone. Side note, I could do with less or no cotija cheese at all. Not a big fan. So after one visit, I’m interested in trying more of what they have to offer(when I’m in the area). Qdoba has a very warm, inviting atmosphere. Loved the interior lighting! But let’s be real — if I’m in the mood for quick Mexican food, I’m going down the street to Chipotle or Longboards.

No extra fee for Guac!!! YAAASSSS! I’ve only had Qdoba at an airport, so I was super stoked that they opened one up in Liberty, MO! Today was the day after their grand opening and of course the line is long, but I’ve become accustomed to waiting in line for burritos for this long since Chipotle always has a line. Prices for the burritos are a little more expensive that chipotle, but the fact that you can have as much guac as you can and other condiments make it so worth it! I ordered the rice bowl, so let me deconstruct it to review it. Rice– got the white rice and it was pretty good, but wish it was more fluffy and soft like Chipotle’s rice. Chicken– the chicken adobo is delicious! Moist and tender with plenty of flavor! Steak– it could use more seasoning, but love how they allowed me to get half and half of the meats so I was able to taste both. I do like how soft the steak was :) Guac– loved the guacamole! I literally got huge scoops to take advantage of the unlimited veggies I could add. Fajitas– were on point! Loved it better than Chipotle’s Cheese– melted queso. Nuff said :) Overall I think I will be going here more often, I still love my Chipotle but it’s nice to have an alternative. Plus the place looks sooooo nice. Love the light fixtures and tables. The table tops have power outlets, so students can definitely study here. Happy Eating!
