I went into Orozcos after my car died on the highway on a Saturday afternoon and wasn’t sure what to expect. Several of the workers didn’t speak english, the waiting room was cold and oily, and I wasn’t exactly thrilled with the prospect of sitting there late into Saturday night in KCKS. I stayed there until about 11pm, and they hadn’t fixed anything on my car. They also overheated it, and I had to tell them to add more coolant several times before they would listen to me. I even had to bring them over to the temperature gauge inside the vehicle because the smoke coming out of the engine apparently wasn’t enough. The guys were nice enough, although they asked me about my salary and other questions that made me feel uncomfortable. Not sure what my salary has to do with my car getting fixed — unless it is a gauge on how much to charge me. They never fixed the vehicle, and I spent a good 16 hours sitting in their grimy waiting room. I do believe that they tried their hardest, but the vehicle was impossible to fix. In their defense, I took the car to another shop that had similar trouble fixing its myriad issues, but they were much more professional and considerate at failure than Orozcos. I don’t think I would take any of my vehicles back to this shop.
