I purchased a deli sandwich and some Vietnamese food. All the food was very fresh and tasty. The portion sizes and prices were very reasonable. I truly enjoyed my conversation with the staff. It was entertaining and informative. I called my order in for pickup and it was ready when I arrived. I will be returning.

This place is a cute, locally owned spot where I can take a crew from work. The less adventurous folks get a tasty sandwich, and I always go for the Vietnamese side of the menu. The vegetarian curry is delicious, with lots of flavor and big chunks of tofu and potatoes. The staff here is great, and the service is prompt. They took the old sandwich shop furnishings and dressed them up a bit with linens and bright colors, which makes for a folksy feeling.

This is a great little place in Zona Rosa. I was not sure what to expect, but the décor was great(reminded me of a tea party) and I loved the fact that there was a very eclectic menu(everything from meatball sub – which is what I had-to fresh curries and Vietnamese fare). My sandwich, which was on special for $ 2.50 – you cannot beat that – was 6″, packed with meatballs, sauce, cheese and FRESH basil – the cashier chopped it for me while my meat boat was sailing through the toaster oven. My dining companion got the chicken club and was also suitably impressed with the load of veggies on his whole grain bun. Although it seemed that the sandwich artist was moving a little slow, we were there on Sunday around lunch time and several person line formed behind us, I would definitely go back… and, if the lovely sandwiches are not on special, I’d try some of the very tempting non-sandwich items as the quantity of fresh ingredients on the food preparation bar was very tempting, but frugality won out(this time).

Ok, I went in expecting just a sandwich… ending up getting some delicious yellow curry and some traditional Vietnamese Iced Coffee(yum… get it with ice!) So, lunch was great. What it needs, I feel, is more options!(Plus some peppers and chili sauce on the table) Just a few more Vietnamese dishes would be wonderful, though until I try the sandwiches I suppose I shouldn’t complain. I will be returning. The décor is everything from an old Quiznos, dressed up a tiny bit. Could use some work, but considering it just opened, I’ll give it a pass. I feel like this could be just the type of place Zona Rosa is missing, you know, non-chain real food. I hope this place sticks around, as I look forward to see where it goes!
