First time here, service was excellent, chef had a great sense of humor. Not long of a wait. Food was good, husband ordered the moonlight special which consists of steak, chicken and shrimp, I got the steak and shrimp, with fried rice, the veggies need improvement, would like to see more mushrooms and less onions. They hibachi, noodles which is different for a Japanese steakhouse. All in all I will be returning

Food quality is average, overpriced and has slow service. The place was deserted when we arrived which in retrospect should been a clue that we should probably had looked elsewhere for our dinner plans…

Six of us dined here for my daughters birthday. The food was perfectly prepared(not rubbery like some hibachi places), sizable portions(we each had to-go boxes), a courteous server and a very entertaining chef. My daughter had so much fun that she said her face hurt from smiling when we were leaving. The free cheesecake and commemorative photo for birthdays is a nice touch. We did not try the sushi but the calamari appetizer was piled high for $ 5.95. Also, we received a 15% discount for the early bird special(before 5?)… not bad for a busy school night. Even before the discount it was a very good value compared to other local hibachi places. The décor was fresh and inviting. We will definitely return.

We finally got to go to this restaurant this evening. It was absolutely wonderful! The only Japanese steakhouse I had been to previously was Benihana in the Los Angeles area. I would definitely put this restaurant in the same category. The wait staff was wonderful, as was our chef. I had the hibachi steak, and my husband had the Moonlight special, which was a combo of steak, chicken and shrimp. We did not try the sushi on this visit. I highly recommend a visit!

We have been there a few times and enjoyed ourselves each time. The wait staff are friendly and will recognize you the next time you come in. Our glasses were always refilled promptly(an important thing for us). The hibachi is fun and the food is plentiful and tasty. The sushi is great and varied. The Liberty roll and KSB roll are our favorites so far. We will definitely be back.

The sushi is okay. Nothing special, but not bad. The issue I really had with place is the sea weed salad — not good. It tasted like ocean… Hen Houses‘s is better.

This location opened in the Boardwalk strip mall I understand about two months ago. I would have thought it opened yesterday. The bar stools still have the plastic on them that comes when purchased new. The cash register is sitting on a bar stool behind the counter. And they do not have their liquor license yet; total bummer. If I partake in sushi I want Saki to go with it. I will try again in a couple of months and update the review. For now not much I can say.
