Mission Lake Community Association

I have lived in Mission Lake for going on a year now. When I first moved to the area I was not sure about living in a neighborhood that is part of an association. First off you have a fee to pay every month and second the neighborhood is predominantly made up of people well over my age group. The later not really having anything to do with the association.
As for the association they keep the pools up during the summer. They are always clean and free of trash in the areas. They make sure to keep the lawn mowed frequently. During the winter they make sure to have our driveways shoveled. The first snow of the year took them a little while, and the shovelers ended up piling my car in, but that wasn’t the associations fault. My only real complaint is that they are supposed to keep up the outside of the condo, and I feel like our back area in the outside could use a lot of work. I think some people do these themselves, but for what we pay every month it would be nice if they cleaned up a lot of the brush and debris near my patio.
I like having the association now that I am used to it. They pay for the pool, water, sewer, trash, and take care of a lot of stresses that you have with the outside portion of your homes.
