We have a few hundred life insurance sites that we use to generate life insurance leads. We were contacted by InsideResponse to sell leads to them and promised to have higher payout then our current source. Once we signed paperwork we switched leads to go to their system. As soon as leads start coming in to their system I realized that only 1 out of 7 leads would say matched and the rest would say unmatched. I immediately contacted my rep Mike Fosselman who tells me not to worry and not to pay attention to this as we are using the exact fields they required. 3 weeks go by and I get contacted by the owner who tells me we are not submitting leads right and that they have a right to refuse any leads with no reason or explanation. When I try to contact Michael he is out of the office for a few weeks. I contact my programmers and ask them to switch leads to our previous source. By that time we already sent them around 70 leads. Sure enough when Michael comes back he never calls me back but tells Eric Hazen the owner that he never told me that. I got a check for $ 220 instead of $ 980. When I contacted Eric to try to explain what happen this is the response I got. Russell, I’m really tired of explaining this to you. It’s very simple and if you don’t understand then perhaps you should find another line of work. The insertion order(YOUSIGNED) is very specific and this is EXACTLY how we work with our vendors. Mike tells me that he never said these things and I believe him. Your negligence is not my problem. If you damage our reputation in any way because of your lack of attention to detail then we will pursue damages. As of right now out insertion order with you is cancelled. Stop contacting us, I don’t have time to explain simple business processes with you. Eric I got your message loud and clear I am getting ripped of and I will not contact you anymore. If you are in lead-generating industry do your self a favor and stay away from this company as they will take your leads and not pay you what they promise.
