Good quick fresh breakfast, I get the sausage biscuit. Also good egg rolls at lunch on the mini buffet

This place COULD be a gem. However, everyone in the entire building refers to it as «Thje Smelly Deli». Not sure if it’s the ventilation, or it just needs a major cleaning. But you can’t even pop in to get gum without coming out smelling like their funk. It’s an odd smell, not pure grease — although the air has a greasy feel — and not pure spice — although there is something about a spice market that it reminds me of… not sure how to describe it other than it is not good.
Wish they would realize their own potential and truly make this an East Coast Bodega! They just need to clean it up!

Just updating with some additional info… since I first wrote my review they’ve reconfigured the store to make better use of the space. Now it seems big and airy when it used to feel cramped. They’ve added several small tables so now you can eat in instead of only getting breakfast or lunch to-​go.
