I think the quaint atmosphere was the only thing I enjoyed… it was like a set left over from Portlandia, complete with douchebag character as barista. Upon entry, there was a giant line and 1 barista with a cold, emotionless look about him. I thought hipsters were supposed to be happy; or at least emotional? With no «Hello» or «Please take a look at our menu, I will be right with you,» my friend and I didn’t even know we were actually in the line waiting for drinks… NOT the order line! And what’s more? The d bag barista wasn’t the one that let us know, one of the customers waiting for their order notified us. After finally stepping over to the menu side and still getting no interaction from the barista, I decided it wasn’t worth the wait to give these people my money. As much as I was looking forward to supporting local business, I strongly feel they need new employees or I would not be too disappointed to see them go out of business. Customer service is everything! What’s more? After handling some business in Camarillo, we ended up going back just because I was that set on being supportive and giving this place a shot. The barista still had no personality… and the coffee was terrible. I got an espresso with crème and fennel and it was awful; but I drank it all because I never waste coffee. However, even the standard latte my friend got was disgusting. This is coming from someone who drinks coffee all over, and has done tastings… not just an every day Starbucks or Coffee Bean corporate coffee fanatic. 0 for 2. I would never go back. –Rayce #TheLifestyleNotTheLabel
