Craig’s Auto Service

I’ve been going to Craig’s for almost a decade. Often with local car garages, the owner makes the difference. I cannot say enough how reasonable and friendly Craig is. He is kind-​hearted and he knows his stuff; hell, if you catch him at the right time, you can have a chat with him right there in his office, as your vehicle is being worked on.
It is definitely recommended to schedule ahead of time, if you can; but often he is more than happy to take you in ASAP. That is a testament to his personality more so than anything else. He doesn’t want you waiting around any longer than you want to because we all know how terrible being without a car is when you depend on it.
His prices are absolutely fair and I can say 100% that he charges a fair price. You know how people say that it is priceless to find an honest and fair mechanic? This is the shop for you. He calls back quickly, he lets you in on the process, and he asks before he does anything that may fall outside of your budget.
Craig’s is an absolute bright spot in a neighborhood that doesn’t always come across as a desirable place to be. I live right around the corner from his shop and could not be happier to have an honest, local «car guy».
