Costume Depot

They are the runt of the costume family of stores in KC. Mom and pop shop. Older type inventory or just the dusty environment. Especially grateful you are in there. Service is great. Pricing can be great or can be meh. Always looking to give you a discount which is nice. Its musty in here. I think if you like sorting through inventory and REALLY digging youd like this gem.

I’m surprised this place doesn’t have a lot of reviews! Costume Depot saved my life when I was trying to find a costume last minute this past October. I’m usually all about putting together my costume or making it, but this year I had to go packaged because of my limited time. I am originally from KC but live in Austin now and I went to KC for Halloween. In Austin, you can basically find any theme/​costume 365 days a year since we have several costume shops and vintage shops. KC is a bit limited in that. While on my search, I went to a costume shop down the street that was too expensive. I had decided on Elvira but didn’t want to spend $ 60-​$ 100 for it.
I came to Costume Depot, and the owner was able to find me the last Elvira costume for 50% off of what the other costume shop was asking. I really appreciated the help I received here. I recommend this place if you’re in need of a costume.

This is the perfect place to go to find the Halloween costume you want. They have everything – costumes, masks, wigs, accessories, decorations, and even Halloween music! I went and had a great experience. The owners were super nice and helped me pick out a costume that I am so excited to wear this Halloween. Best of all, the PRICES ARE THE BEST!
