Terrible experience. Don’t go to the fat bearded customer service manager that looks like a retarded precious moments doll. I went to return a phone screen cover I registered with a lifetime warranty in the store because Zagg was trying to charge me shipping. He refused to help me or give me a $ 4 Best Buy gift card for shipping charges and told me I was«out of luck.» I told him he was terrible and shouldn’t work in customer service and he said«thanks have a great day.» They even admitted I got a bad one and it shouldn’t have been sold. Won’t be back!!!

I purchased a 65 inch 4K Sony T.V. From this store. They delivered it to our home a few days after purchase. It was delivered by a third party. After the T. V was set up, we turned it on and saw nothing but colored lines all over the screen. We paid nearly $ 2000 for this t.v. We also purchased the 5 year Geek Squad protection plan with it. We called the manager of this store, I believe his name is John. He was very rude and immediately gave me the 1 – 888 number. I spoke to a supervisor at the corporate # and was told that they would attempt to resolve this with the manager at the Flintlock Rd. Location. Unfortunately, this manager refused to work with us. I’ve exhausted my efforts at this point. The t.v. is now a month old and we still have nothing as far as help from Best Buy.

Went in to look at wireless surround systems, and encountered a total choad of a sales guy; he just said, «yeah, what you were looking at…» Didn’t ask any questions or provide any clarifications. He acted like he was too good to be talking to us. I believe I’m the guy about to drop $ 2k, and you’re the guy in polyester pants. After more prompting, he showed us the top end, and after another round walked us back to wired systems. Finally, seeking clarification, I tried explaining what I understood about the system we were looking at back to him, and he said, «yeah,» as if he had already said anything of substance. We walked. I’ll buy the same product online where a drone could do a better job selling me a product.

I hope Best Buy makes it. I think they’re getting beat up by online retailers but there’s no substitute for being able to go to a place, ask a question and get a short lesson from someone who knows what they’re talking about. The problem for Best Buy might be that finding that person who knows what they’re talking about is tough — and even if you do, some people will get the info from them and order from online anyway. I don’t know how to fix that — luckily I don’t have to but this Best Buy has generally been helpful in the many, many years that I’ve been going here. There’s been some tough times between us. Some crappy, overpriced laptops in the early days of laptops but I don’t think either of us knew much about tiny computers back then and they did their best to fix the problems. Recently, I decided to get a television antenna to watch the Super Bowl(can I write that name, I wonder). I’m a long time cable free guy and plan to use the antenna for sports on TV. There’s a big difference in cost between the low-end antennas and high-end. I was greeted me at the door and asked what I was looking for. I was led to the isle I needed and introduced to someone that could answer questions. I bought the antenna recommended which was on sale and promised as effective because it was the same one the guy answering the questions had bought and used. I set it up and it worked beautifully. This is one example but pretty indicative of most experiences here. Sometimes they know more about what I’m looking at than other times but generally there’s someone there that can help. That’s tough to replace online. Good luck Best Buy.

we need some competition in this town! please! the car audio section needs a complete overhaul. anthony, the install tech, was present when i purchased my receiver. «shaggy», the sales associate, couldn’t tell me how long it would take and only accounted for 2 ½ hours. the day of install, anthony claimed he couldn’t install everything in 2 ½ hours but could for ½ a day. I didn’t have that time and cancelled the install and purchase. if they can’t get their act straight, then i can take my money elsewhere!

I don’t know how often they restock the shelves, but I always seem to go and they are out of what I need. I’ve gotten into the habit of calling if there is one specific item I’m looking for to check before I head there. The staff is friendly, but pretty much on par with other Best Buys around the metro. It is a relatively compact Best Buy, but when in stock, they have a pretty good variety of games and TV accessories.

I’ve already been to this Best Buy a couple of times since I moved to Kansas City, MO. The layout of the Best Buy was similar to the ones in California and I’m sure others in Missouri. The people who work here helped me find what I was looking for even though I had an idea of the area it would be in. I didn’t have to waste time looking around. Usually, the computer section is directly in the back of the store in the middle. I had to buy a new printer, ink, paper, DVD-Rs, and ethernet cable on my 3 separate visits. lol I kept forgetting one or the other. I’ll be back for any other computer needs or any electronic needs.
