I just had my first straight razor shave. It was an incredible experience. Big M is the man. Gave me a clean cut and then a nice shave.
I was able to walk in and get my hair cut without waiting. I told him a general idea of what I wanted (because I didn’t know what I wanted for sure), and he made it look amazing. I’m really happy I stopped by.

Just had my first haircut at Baltimore Avenue Barbershop. Theo cut my hair. He was friendly asked me what I wanted, offered his own good advice and gave me the best haircut I’ve had in a decade. It’s a little more expensive (only reason I didn’t give 5 stars) than I have been used to paying but it was worth it and this will be my new regular barber. Walked right in and was helped immediately.

I got my hair cut here for the first time yesterday and I’m quite impressed with the results. I showed the gentleman what I was looking for… and he gave me exactly what I needed. I will definitely come back, this place is very professional and delivers good results. I think they’re courteous to their clients as well.

This guy knows his hair and he cuts to the chase.
I walked in with a jungle nest of what should have been a head of hair, which I had sorely been neglecting. After a short conversation about how I normally like my hair, this gentleman got to work. We talked about the Chiefs, downtown renovation, random music stuff and within 10 minutes he was done and I had the best haircut I’ve had in a while.
What I really liked was he didn’t push any product on me (there really wasn’t any to sell,) but he did give me a couple of pointers on how to try and manage dry scalp and some other ways to keep my hair a little healthier.
And finally, Big M’s is smack in the middle of downtown so if you need a quick (and thorough) haircut, it’s within walking distance.
