I can’t say enough good things about Ara’s Rug Gallery. The quality of their rugs is exceptional and their service has been extraordinary – the kind of very special personal attention that is very hard to find these days, like pick-up and delivery. I have purchased rugs from them and they have cleaned my rugs for years, hand-washing them and drying them carefully to preserve their color and texture. Ara is the most knowledgeable rug dealer I have encountered and Ihave learned so much from him. I was very sorry to hear that he has had some health issues recently. His daughter, Elizabeth, is smart and conscientious and she has been great to deal with. She even delivered a rug to my daughter in Colorado when she was going there on her personal vacation!

DONOTUSE! This company operates with horrible customer service! They straight up have been lying to me since October of 2014. I worked out at the Gym next door and wanted to get my oriental rug cleaned and repaired so decided to try this local company. At first everything was great– they made arrangements to come and get my rug(which is over 14 ft long) that was great. They said they could clean it and repair it and have it back with in three weeks…3WEEKS! Great– except here is where it all went down hill. Elizabeth is the one I dealt with who is also the owner– well they didn’t come and get the rug as arranged and I changed my whole schedule in order to meet them– ok I though things happen no biggie– but then another week went by. They once again missed the pick up. Finally Elizabeth called me and had some apology and story and came the next day. I payed over $ 600 to get the rug cleaned. Fine I knew it would be expensive so it was supposed to take 3 weeks to have the rug cleaned. It took 7 weeks!!! And she had an excuse after excuse and I was getting worried that maybe something happened… Finally they dropped it off and– that’s when I ordered the padding– which was supposed to come after a week. That was the first week in December. I have yet to get the padding for the rug and paid for it weeks and weeks ago. Every time I call Elizabeth has some ridiculous excuse and claims that she was just going to call me. Unbelievable. Just the worst customer service ever. Can’t wait to be done with them!
