Good but the ribs a little undercooked and hard to cut. The Carolina pulled pork with Cole slaw was delicious. Good service. Overall a nice find in Kankakee

I have always had great food from bulls but this time it was just not good. First off no smoke! Where is the smoke flavor? It was like it was cooked in the oven. Anyway I orderd a meat combo and got the pulled pork, ribs and hot link. The pulled pork … Bland. No flavor. The hot link was sliced into pieces? It was dried out and seemed to be old. The ribs were dry and chewy and the fries that came with it were soggy and greasy like that were sitting around and tossed back in the fryer for a few seconds to reheat them. I hate to give a bad review about this place but I spent almost $ 20 to get home try everything and throw it in the garbage because I was disgusted and couldn’t eat anymore. I hear a lot of people come out of their way to get bbq here. I only live down the road but if I traveled to come here and get bbq of the quality I got this day I would be upset. On the up side thier beans were as good as they always are.

The brisket is so good. When I visit Kankakee this is one of my main stops. Everything is flavorful and tender. A little pricey but worth every penny. I have never had a bad meal here. This is where to go for good BBQ in the area

I didn’t have the chance to eat inside yet, but I met the guy. He and his son are super cool and friendly. The omelette I had was perfectly cooked to the point that you can taste all the ingredients without any charcoal or raw eggs.

My job requires me to travel all over the US and Canada, and this place had some of the BESTBBQ I have had in a while. The food is great and plentiful. I only got rib tips and smoked sausage(they were out of ribs by dinner!), but they were so good that I am going to go back to try to get ribs again. Sides: French fries were ok(basic shoestring), the Mac and cheese is awesome, and the baked beans were something else. My whole dinner was only $ 15! If you’re in the area, absolutely make an effort to go.

Tasty stuff! The beans are out of this world. The pulled pork is awesome. The ribs rock. Great simple and tasty barbecue. The service could use some training and focus. The interior could be cleaned up a bit. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town. I don’t leave for another two days and may go back for more tomorrow!

My friends and I accidentally found this place, using Unilocal, last year after attending Bears Training Camp and had to visit again this year! Needless to say this place is a hidden gem. A real quality hole in the wall. There isn’t a whole lot of non-chain, not fast food places in the area. The bbq sauce is delicious, price are reasonable and the portions are good. So far we have tried beef briskit, pulled pork and rib tips. Sides are good as well. It just feels so local. If you are in the area you should make the extra effort to try it out.

Whoa. First time to Bull’s. Awarded best sauce in town — for good reason. I ordered beef brisket platter with macaroni & cheese and beans. Brisket incredibly tender, smoke flavor on point, well seasoned, and a sizable portion. Came with a delectable sweet sauce — absolutely delicious! Mac & cheese was fantastic, baked and cheesy. Beans served piping hot, appropriately spiced, and tasty. Husband ordered the meat platter: hot links were quite spicy but great! Ribs were meaty and saucy and overall, a delight. Both platters served with a slice of white bread, typical BBQ fare and traditional. Served by three energetic, friendly, and knowledgeable young ladies. Highly recommend.

Wow, the nachos! I’m not normally a nacho fan but these(topped with the brisket) were phenomenal. But it didn’t stop there. We had three appetizers, three sides, and six pulled pork sandwiches between four of us. Everything was good to great and it was under $ 15/person. Bottom line, if you like bbq and are in the area, go.

Quick business dinner took me to SMOK-A-LICIOUS Bulls BQ. Building decore for real… makes me giggle that famous daves is a contrived comic book version of this place. Bulls is the real deal. Famous Daves has rusty antiques, Bulls has real rusting BBQ pits in the parking lot that look like they are cut and cobbled together from a 45 olds and a 73 el dorado cadillac that are responsible for smoking about a billion pig butts. Funny… here is the coffin for thousands of pigs but they only get to occupy it for 12 hours and the diners who then eat thise pigs do all the«THANKYUHJEEZUS» because whom they are really thanking the big guy for is the magical talent of Bull and his talented pitmasters and waitresses that bring you sweettea. I got a quick peek into the pit by a younger pit master whom himself looked a lot like bull himself. Clearly Bull is mentoring and sharing his knowledge, but not without paying dues… with what this young man showed me, it looked like this powerful prodegy of Bull was willing to lay down and throw down with the brisket he served me. I cant wait to dive into tips and I hear the hot links are heaven.

Good brisket. When we went, they didn’t have any ribs, rib tips, or smoked chicken. Good service. Good price with our Unilocal coupon $ 20 for $ 10. Visible smoke rings on brisket. Available to go which would be convenient if you’re from the area

Very poor. Was there on Saturday May 2nd, 2015 both my husband and i got sick immediately after eating there, would not recommend this place to anybody. We were told that there St. Louis ribs were very meaty but they were not. The colesaw was awful, the baked beans where a little spicy:( Did not have a good experience at all

This place is amazing! I used to live in North Carolina where they’re known for their BBQ and I can honestly say this was better than anything I ever ate in that state. We started off with fried pickles and fried macaroni and cheese balls which were out of this world. Then I had a beef brisket sandwich that was so tender and just melted in my mouth. Our waitress Nicole also provided great customer service and was very knowledgable about the menu. This is definitely my new favorite BBQ joint!

Holy moly, be still my Georgian heart. This place looks like a dive and it’s even a bit divey inside(not a ton of seating but enough). But no matter. Come and dine in or get your BBQ to go. They have an extensive menu and some of the options are really novel concepts which I enjoyed. I of course had to get the 2-meat platter so I could try as much as possible that I could fit in my stomach. So very good. I’ll warn that they only provide one sauce, but it is good. If you’re looking for spicy though you will be disappointed. Garlic fries are good but really soggy. Mac and cheese is good — be warned it comes hot and stays hot! Brisket was good, but the pulled pork was divine. I could get a whole plate of that by itself. They made my cherry cola with grenadine which is always a winner. I would’ve tried the ribs or rib tips if they weren’t out due to large numbers of catering orders.

Dude! Best bbq in town ever. If you’re like me and was raised in a low income hood, then you’ve probably had some good, savoury, finger-licking, lip smacking, make-ya-wanna-slap-yo-mama-its-so-good bbq. Well that’s this place, minus the hood. ;) The macaroni and cheese is crusted with like parmesan or something is what it tastes like. The chicken wings are whole wings, not halves like everybody and their mother serves. The bbq sauce, mmm, I put it on everything, and the rib tips are on point. I like mine with just the right amount of gristle and these do not disappoint. Do it!

I went because of the reviews. This place is why I am on Unilocal when I travel. I hate chain restaurants and thought I had to settle… but found this place. Added bonus was the Unilocal special. We drove there to check the place out. Located in the downtown area… it looks exactly what a diamond in the rough restaurant looks like. Unpretentious on the outside and friendly attitude on the inside. We were greeted with a smile and told we can seat ourselves. Sat down and looked over the menu. We were disappointed that they were out of rib tips and baby back ribs. We did the fried mushroom. They were awesome! My daughter said she would have been happy with it as dinner. Had the beef brisket and St. Louis style ribs. Both were delicious. What I liked was that they didn’t tried to overwhelm you with their bbq sauces. They didn’t have 3 or 4 different bbq sauce. They had 1 and it was good. The fries were ordinary. But the onion rings were made with sweet onion… a pleasant surprise. The sweet potatoes fries tasted awesome. Cole slaw is the vinegar style. If you are in the area, stop by… unless you like chain restaurants, you will be glad you did.
