Nothing about this was a good experience. The full story is below — but basically this guy stole my money by «fixing» things that weren’t broken and preying on my desperation to repair my fridge. He also had the worst customer service by being late to an appointment by 8 hours. COMPLETEHACK — DONOTUSE. I cannot emphasize this enough. I called around when I noticed that our fridge had broken and was scrambling to get it fixed asap. I was pleased that I as able to make an appointment so soon, however, that was only to look at the fridge and diagnose the issue. During this appointment the«technician» actually asked to use my computer so that he could look up part numbers. I thought this odd, but anything that could speed up the process. The next day he was supposed to arrive at 10am to begin the repair with the missing parts. After 2 hours of waiting I was finally able to get in touch with him to find out that one of the parts was on a truck and he would not be able to come until 6 that night! Frankly — this sounded like a load of crap. We live on a relatively small island, and from the sound of children playing in the background on the phone, it was clear that he had prioritized playtime over customer service. Still, I needed the fridge fixed so I waited until 6. He came at 6:30. After replacing several items(one of which was the fan motor based on our original conversation the day prior) he told me not to use the fridge for a day and allow it time to cycle. This sounded fishy, but I went along with it. After a day there was absolutely no change. He offered to tweak some settings. I had already paid him — so he came over to make the adjustments. Another day — no change. At this point, we’ve wasted 5 days, a few hundred dollars and a ton of my time(waiting 8 hours in the hours while he played with his child before coming over). I had made a SEARS appointment when I noticed the fridge was broken and had not canceled it in the event that something wouldn’t work out. I was expecting something along the lines of a delay in getting a tech out to the house — not complete ineptitude. Come Saturday morning the Sears tech arrived promptly on time and looked in the fridge and after less than 5 minutes told me that my fan motor was broken. Fixing that would solve it. I asked if there was anything else that could have been connected with this, and he said no — a quick fix of a $ 60 part would have me up and running as fast as I could turn a screw driver. I paid him for his diagnosis and ran down to Kalihi to buy the part myself(spent so much with this hack that I was in penny-pinching mode) and installed and repaired the fridge within the hour. Long story short — this guy has zero respect for your time, and money. The items he fixed were not broken and did not solve the issue despite his insistence that they would. He essentially stole my money and is a COMPLETERIPOFF. DONOTUSEHIMATALL.

I called Willy after few calls to other appliance repair businesses and he was the only one willing to come look at my kegerator in a timely manner. It was after 5 when I called, so he came out the next morning. His rates are reasonable, and although he didn’t fix it the same day because of parts not being on hand, I still highly recommend Willy for future appliance repair needs.
