I’m confused, surprised, and intrigued about the bubble drink I just enjoyed from Rainbow Crack Seed this afternoon. Made a stop here because my boyfriend wanted an icee float and I decided to try a boba drink. Priced at $ 4.10 and made from powder I had pretty low expectations. Just a few sips in and I was impressed! No hard and crunchy ice crystals from not being blended well, but instead smooth and creamy yumminess. But the boba is what made me say«hmmmm». The firm texture was great, but the flavor wasn’t the norm. It had a strawberry/li hing-like taste. The bubbles were a transparent red color and I just couldn’t stop sippin’! Anyone know what’s the deal with the mystery bubbles? Was this just a fluke? A one off??? So many questions!!!

TERRIBLESERVICE. WILLNEVERGOBACK. No greeting upon entering from 4 of the employees and we were the only ones in there. Then the young girl threw the straws at my autistic child. Complete disrespect. I can guarantee some other business would treat my child with respect and would love my hard earned money.

Hubby craving Halo Halo but this place is more than an ice cream shop. It has a variety of candy and fun and interesting jerkys and dried fruit. So cute inside too.

Even though it is a small store, there are a lot of goodies sold here that can turn your good day into a great day. They have a lot of the local favorites(dried ika, li hing mui based products, wet lemon peel, pickled plumb ect). They also have ice cream, bubble tea, shave ice, icy/icy floats, snow, and halo halo. I like the selection of goodies they have here and will continue to come back to remind me of my childhood.

Tell us they’re closed for shave ice an hour before posted time… shame on them. Terrible to turn away money when the economy is bad.

It’s a snacker’s paradise at Rainbow Crack Seed. They have a big selection of seed, snacks, candies, locally made products, shave ice, ice cream, bubble drinks, Icee, and freshly popped popcorn. Since they don’t open until 10 am, I usually try to hold off on our weekly marketing at Foodland until after 10 am so that I can pick up a an Icee w/ice cream or bag of chocolate covered gummy bears on the way to the car. The hubby also stops here often on Friday evenings on the way home to pick up popcorn for movie/tv night.

After hearing from so many people, my BF and I were on a mission to find the best hurricane popcorn. Went to Long’s Drug one night and the cashier told us that this little joint in Kaneohe has the best hurricane popcorn. Welps… i agree, sort of. Unfortunately, by the time that we got there they were almost closed and had already turned off the popcorn machine. so boo. We didn’t get to try the hurricane popcorn that was made properly by them, but the staff was very nice in giving me distinct directions on how to make it at home with their prepackaged hurricane popcorn mix. Well.perhaps we didn’t do such a good job, since it turned out okay. But i can see how if all the toppings were nicely incorporated and glued together by the appropriate amount of butter, that stuff would be amazing. If i’m ever back on this side of the island, I will definitely come back and give it another try.

Many years I’ve been a loyal customer, but hate to mention this but the employees are not as friendly about having discounts. They thought my relative was not a senior citizen. So rude! Also, everything got smaller in my opinion and got rid of many different goodies. Even the shave ice got changed as in the quality of the syrup taste. They are more water down and can barely taste the flavor. Also, as soon as my family got our shave ice, we were walking to the car and it already melted which is really strange. Seems like I won’t be going there as often. Maybe its a new owner. How disappointing.

Boy this place brings back some good ol’ memories, every time when We were little and we’d Travel to Kaneohe my parents would bring us here. I really like this place, we used to get icees and sit outside, along with some kaki Mochi and seed. This time around I got some gummy sharks cause those were my absolute fav back in the day, along with some sweet white li hing, yummy! The lady behind the counter however she was rather rude in the beginning, didn’t tell us hi when we walked through, nor look at us. Once we got up to the register she was still mad looking, only nice thing she said with a smile for once was to have a goodnight lol.

This place really is crack. Its like a little Candy Store but with novelties like Disney plushes and balloons. Little mom and pop shop which isnt necessarily bad, they had lots of varieties but they ran out on items I wanted. They didn’t have Li Hing Pineapple or Mangos when I went in. They did however have Li Hing Sour belts and gummy bears and watermelon slices… *Drooools So came in hoping they had these items, slightly disappointed but at least I got my sugar fix. Little small gem in this plaza, kinda hard to find but when you find it, hopefully you’ll find all your items to satisfy your sweet tooth

Their shave ice is just as good as anything from the North Shore at almost half the cost. A small is only $ 2.50 and a large is $ 3. The small is really big so it’s all you really need, not a big difference in the two sizes.

I wish there was a negative for stars. I have yet to have a good experience at this place. The girls behind the counter are just rude and no customer service skills what’s so ever. They make it obvious that they hate their job and what they do. Only reason we ever go here is as a last resort and convenience since they are so close to my home. Other then that I do not recommend them to anyone!!!

Always loved this place from when I was younger but the definite downfall of this place is the workers. THEYNEEDBETTERCUSTOMERSERVICE!!! The workers here are so rude and they always look so grouchy. Also, I agree with another review I’ve seen on here. They somehow seem to always be out of bubbles.

Cute snack store at the Windward City Shopping Center. They have smoothies, icee’s, bubble tea, popcorn, and crackseed. I ordered a tasty guava smoothie made with ice cream(they also give the option of using yogurt) for $ 4.19(including tax). Bonus that they accept credit cards.

Pros: Good variety of old school and new school treats. Great place to get a thoughtful gift for kids or teachers etc. because you can’t go wrong with a customized candy lei. Popcorn is BOMB! Cons: it’s true, the staff isn’t necessarily the friendliest. Another con is that recently it seems that they are ALWAYS out of bubbles. How the heck do you drink bubble tea without bubbles? That needs to be fixed more so than the workers attitudes. All in all my go to place for hurricane popcorn and a bubble tea even if they don’t always have the most exuberant customer service or bubbles.

Finally made it here! Their selection is stupendous and the prices pretty reasonable. Located in the Windward City Shopping Center near Foodland and Long’s Drugs in Kaneohe. The parking can sometimes be challenging, but once you find a spot, walk to this place and get your goodies! From crack seed to bubble tea to arare and candies. Reminded me of the Mom & Pop shops from years ago! The place is small and was packed when I went, but the line goes fast and the young ladies in there are super friendly and fast! I found my new go to place for cravings!
