They changed their names to Liang’s kitchen or something like that. Still same management and food. Whenever i go there i get the chicken choi sum with cake noodles. Very tasty!

This palce is definitely someplace I’ll go again and again. Everything that I’ve tried has been very tasty. I believe it’s partly due to their ability to put the perfect amount of seasoning. My go-​to plates would be their garlic salmon and lup chong fried rice. Their portion sizes are huge and reasonably priced. I’m always serviced with a smile and would estimate never waiting more than 10 minutes for my food.

Our Ohana picks up a half dozen plates every Wed night. The lady who takes our order is very professional and courteous. She repeats my phone order back to me to ensure accuracy which is very important since we customize most of our orders: dad likes 1 scoop Brown rice, 1 scoop white rice with tossed salad, most of our plates are customized combos. We really appreciate the flexibility in ordering.
The portions are always very generous, enough to make our 6’3 275lb eater with the largest appetite very content.
Obviously we all enjoy the food since we eat there every week. Some favorites: Roast Pork with Gravy (my favorite), lots of vegetable choices (my wife’s favorite), Garlic Eggplant with Chicken (uncle orders this every week), Beef Bitter Melon, Garlic Pork Chop, Mochiko Chicken Curry (customized order), Kim Chee Fried Brown Rice (only place we could find that offers this), Garlic Shrimp and French Fries extra crispy is a must.

This place is never really crowded when I come to pick up my food and phone orders are always ready within 5 – 10 minutes. The lady at the front register is always friendly and super sweet. Parking situation isn’t always the best here but so far I got lucky every time someone was leaving. I love how you can add cake noodle to anything. The last time I wanted oyster chicken n Choy sum (which isn’t on the menu) and they just whipped it right up for $ 10! Overall we are always satisfied while eating here and the food always has a lot of ono flavors :)

Regular garlic chicken plate: $ 8. Unfortunately this time they forgot to add garlic. Not nearly as garlicky as before. Disappointing. Otherwise a decent serving for the price. Chicken was cooked well.
A catering order was being cooked during the lunch hour. I guess their cook can’t handle a catering order and the lunch crowd at the same time. Waited way too long for my plate.

Haven’t had a meal here we didn’t love. Garlic chicken, garlic salmon and chicken katsu are some of our favorites. We usually call in to order and our food is always ready when we get there. The staff are polite. Prices are reasonable for their huge portions.

Been to the one in Palisades so wanted to try this location. Ordered asparagus chicken plate with mini chicken fried noodles. The asparagus chicken was so good. The food was freshly made so it was hot even after i drove home to eat. The plate was so heavy because the portion was HUGE. I didn’t even touch the noodles I was too stuffed. Definately going back to try other items. I’ve had their katsu and bbq chicken from the Palisades location so I’m hoping those are just as yummy

I ordered the chicken in black bean sauce. The flavor was excellent, portion size was huge… I’d go back for that… Based on other reviews, dunno how willing I’d be to try other things. But if your craving good chicken with black bean sauce was very good!

First time being here. Looked like an L&L to me so I stuck with what I knew I would like. Boy was I in for a surprise. We ordered to plates near closing time. A reg BBQ mix plate and a reg garlic chicken. The BBQ chicken in the mix plate was good. The Teri beef was pretty dry, and the 1 piece of shortrib was super thin and dry. The garlic chicken was pretty tasty but isn’t your traditional garlic chicken that’s fried. It seems as if the same chicken from the BBQ chicken is thrown in a wok with chopped up garlic. Altogether portions were good for what we paid. Just about $ 8 a plate which is cheaper than it’s counterpart L&L. If your looking for a quick cheap bite I’m sure u can find something on their menu that will satisfy your appetite. They also cater.

Walked in with a party of about 15 at 8:30 and was rushed and asked to leave at closing time 30 minutes later. NEVER have I been asked to leave ANY eatery at closing time!
First and last time eating there! Customer service makes or break a business. Better ask somebody!

We visited the Kaneohe location at 6:30pm, the tables were empty. We ordered a mini Garlic chicken and a lup cheong fried rice. The garlic chicken was bland, did not have any flavor and the fried rice as well. I even took the rest of the fried rice to work to let my friends try it and they said it had no flavor. They told me that my fried rice was better.
So, if you like eating bland food, go to Palisades. As for me, I recommend Sugoi’s or Mitsuken for good tasty Garlic chicken.
