Last month, I paid my cable bill at the Auahi Steet location — bad move. Very crowded and LONG wait. Yesterday, I went to check up on Heather at this Kaneohe location, & there she was!!! Smiling, efficient, smart, and pleasant as ever. I asked her if her boss gave her a raise yet, but sadly, no. I told her that if I was her boss, I’d give her a hefty raise because I would want her to work for me forever! Heather, please don’t leave! She was so sweet & said that other people showed her my earlier review & she was so suprised & happy! She even came out of the office & gave me a hug! I truly believe in rewarding good workers — even just a simple«thank you». Unilocal is more than that — it’s really recognizing good customer service in this age of technology & social media. People can get lost and disconnected. Heather is one awesome people person! She said she treats customers the way she would like to be treated — isn’t that a basic Golden Rule? Anyway, this location of Oceanic Time Warner Cable has improved! There’s a «Take A Number» system and chairs so we can sit and wait for our turn! Prior to this, we just stood awkwardly in line! Very thoughtful of them to add these little conveniences! So, going back to the Golden Rule… after my interaction with Heather, I went to the dry cleaning place on the other side of Windward City Shopping Center. BIGDIFFERENCE in customer service. That woman had NOPERSONALITY and NOTHELPFUL — VERYCOLD! She made me appreciate Heather all the more! Mahalo Heather!

Incredibly RUDE woman working here. ALANA was completely unhelpful. We set everything up on the phone with O.T.W. customer service and only needed to pick up a box from the shop. By the way, The storefront is CLOSED on WEDNESDAYS. No one told us this on the phone. We go through the motions of everyone showing ID, confirming out account, etc. Not only was the price quoted to us in the phone QUADRUPLE, but the woman«helping» us had no inclination to help find out why the price was so drastically different. Her pat answer was there was nothing she could do, she«wasn’t lying«(no one accused her of lying, we just questioned why the price was so different). Her attitude was so bad she only served to exacerbate the situation instead of diffuse it. For such a big company you’d think that Time Warner would take the time to teach those who are the face of the company a little bit of customer service. Alana needs to be put deep in a warehouse stocking shelves in the middle of the night. I’m sure she is fine and dandy when things are going fine and dandy but she made out like we were attacking her personally. After leaving the store in disgust we called Oceanic and were told the box she was quoting us the higher price for what was the high end of what we wanted. Basically she was trying to «upsell» us a better box. Grrrrr…
