Pua Mau Place

Please someone purchase this place (it’s for sale). Needs some tlc and upgrades, and the animals need it, too. Lots of potential, but not worth the entrance fee.

We were driving around when we spotted this place by accident. There was a home made sign at the side of the road advertising a botanical garden. I have a weakness for gardens so we decided to drop by.
This garden is located on the drier side of the island so don’t expect to see orchids here. There are still a great deal of blooms on the property. Throughout the garden there are sculptures of dragonflies, butterflies, scorpions etc. You can also find peacocks roaming the grounds. They are friendly and come up to you if you have food in your hand. There is also a big turtle on the grounds but he doesn’t do much.
You can bring a lunch and eat here because there are picnic tables on the grounds. I would suggest bringing plenty of ice cold water because it gets hot and dry. They also have a hall you can rent with a great view of the gardens and ocean. It’s a beautiful place! The entry fee is also tax deductible.
