This is a MUST when visiting Kalona. I’ve shopped here off and on for my entire life and I will say the quality of items, and *diversity* of merchandise is consistent. The prices in general are fair. They went up a bit over the years(what hasn’t?) but some deals are to be had. It’s pretty well organized. Things are organized into booths like every respectable antique mall and those are pretty neatly arranged. What else. A church turned into an antique mall. In walking distance of the bakery and some other antique spots and candle store. Free Street parking. The older couple at check out are pips.

When in Kalona, a stop here is a given. It is not even negotiable. I love the old church building they call home, but even more so, I love the room after room of treasures just waiting to be discovered. I never leave this store without a new cherished piece(or two or three). Prices seem consistently fair and I always feel like I get my money’s worth.
