I had heard about this place and passed by dozens of times without stopping. MY MISTAKE! Woe I had the best fish sandwich of my life. There must have been nearly a half pound of lightly breaded whitefish on a homie roll. It was great as was my side of clam chowder. I cannot wait to stop again… maybe next weekend.

Update, the owner messaged me asking me to call attempting to remedy my negative review. This was a nice gesture, so I decided to try it again.
However the food was still served raw and that’s 2 times. Way overpriced, but so is every other breakfast joint in Kalkaska!

We have always enjoyed the food. The food is always nicely prepared and cooked the way it’s supposed to be cooked. The service is friendly but a couple times I’ve had to get the waitresses attention for refills, ect.

Delicious charcuterie Bloody Mary, homemade corned beef hash with a side of dans French toast, all outstanding! Mac and cheese made from scratch and hand cut French fries. All fabulous. Staff fast and friendly.
