After a few years I tried it again-I heard there is new ownership. We only had soup and salad and coffee but the food was great, service was not super slow or super fast. Expected speed at lunch time… I am happy! I might give it another try and go for a breakfast sandwich this time and see what happens! I’ve missed them.

Yum Yum, best describes this place. Had lunch, French Dip with homemade potato chips. Food was prepare timely, fresh and hot. Pastries(bear claw) was very good. The most incredible cinnamon rolls I have ever seen, larger than my hand with an incredibly low price of $ 3 and some change. This is a must in Kalispell. Spoke with the new owner and very impressed. Great location and décor.

I enjoy coming here for breakfast. The new owners are great, friendly service and they make you feel like home. Their food is good. My favorite is the breakfast croissant. I will come here more often

The fresh smell of blueberry scones had me sold, so I picked up one. Perfectly moist with tons of delicious blueberries. It was the great way to start my drive back to Bozeman!

This is the kind of place I’ve been looking for since moving to town. I got the WI cheddar soup with some awesome ½ sandwich combo, the ordered a huge cinnamon roll to go. It was seriously 6×6. My only issue is that they have crappy box teas(Bigelow and Tazo). I’d suggest they partner with a local tea company to make this place better.

This deli is under new management, and their sandwiches are very good. I had a turkey sandwich on sourdough bread, and I’d like to go back to sample other treats here. The Kalispell Brewing Company is across the street, but does not serve sandwiches for lunch. So I took my sandwich from the deli and crossed the street to enjoy a good beer with my sandwich. I highly recommend deli and the brewing Company combination.

Mediocre espresso drinks. My vanilla latte tasted like it was made with sugar-free syrup. Pastries were better than average and huge in size. Definitely recommend the apple cinnamon pastry and classic glazed cinnamon roll. Despite not being busy, they mixed up the customers’ order in front of us. I like the local wheat angle and that you can grind your own flour on site. Ample seating but awkward atmosphere that could use some sort of background music. It’s open on Sundays though, which is a plus!

Some of the ingredients aren’t great, but they have several vegetarian options that are good so they get a whopping 4 stars!

I really like eating local ingredients including wheat grown in Montana, so I heartily support the idea of this business. However, when it comes to actual flavor and taste of their pastries and food… its just alright. Soups and sandwiches aren’t anything spectacular or memorable. I used to come here all the time for Starbucks coffee, since they were the first to sell it in Kalispell(I think they’ve since changed their coffee brand, likely locally sourced too). I do love their croissants and their 7 grain Cereal(which you can buy dry and make at home)…but that’s about it… I support them by buying their flour at Costco or Walmart. I like their unbleached white and white wheat. use em in my baking all the time. Their bakery is worth trying… maybe you’ll like them! In fact, I think this really is a guy joint. My husband loves their breakfast sandwiches and pastries. They’ve got a great price point here with large portions. Biscuits and gravy, cinnamon rolls and many other selections are huge and are raved about amongst gentlemen. But if I’m going to buy pastry, cookies or sweets and not make my own with Wheat Montana ingredients, then I’ll head to Ceres just down the street, for something more delicate.

Wow, so delicious! Stopped in here on a whim on a road trip. I wish I could take all their breads home. Service was excellent. Breakfast was hot, fast, and tasty. Fair prices. Friendly staff. Makes me wish I lived here.

I got the veggie soup and a wheat roll and both were great! We also got pastries half off because we came in at 2. The prices are very cheap but great quality. Will be back many times again.

Best Cinnamon Rolls ANYWHERE! They also have a nice selection of breads and sandwich;s. The cinnamon roll itself though is a meal by itself it so big!(And yummy) I would say this place is a hundred steps above Subway!

During our stay near Kalispell we ate here twice. Both times were as we started our early morning drive to Glacier National Park. It was great that Wheat Montana Deli & Bakery opens early(6AM M-Sat, 8AM Sun), as it allowed us to have a filling meal before starting our day. It also meant taking along some great bakery products to eat later in the trip. The items we had that I can recommend are any of the bagel sandwiches. We had these both times and loved them. I also tried the huckleberry coffee(it’s quite the popular berry in these parts), which as far as flavored coffee goes(I’m not usually a fan) was pretty good. The cinnamon rolls(picture coming soon) are GINORMOUS, and I could not even finish it(which made for a good snack later). On the second visit I learned Wheat Montana Deli & Bakery grows their own grain, and this grain(whole or ground) can also be purchased in the store. That’s pretty cool. PS. Free Wi-Fi, outdoor seating and a private meeting room too!

Very nice deli sandwiches and salads. She had a club salad and I had a hot beef and cheese and they were both wonderful and the staff was so energetic, helpful and attentive. The place was jumping and everyone in the place was smiling! Give it a try and enjoy your lunch! We were passing through town and this place caught our and and subsequently our tummy too!
