You want to experience Kalispell, MT then you must go here. It is a local favorite. The pizza is decent and the atmosphere is dark and sawdust litters the floor.
Stay awhile and gamble a little. Watch the game, chat up a local at the bar. Get a red beer. If you have never had one its your favorite light or medium beer with tomato juice. I like mine with Clamato and lime. Try it with a cheap beer like coors, bud light, Budweiser or PBR. Might change your life.
If you want a local experience this is the epitome of that! Give it a try and leave your name on the wall.

Been going here since I was a little kid in the early 80’s. Still love the pizza to this day. The kitchen service could use some serious help. Not known for being very friendly in my opinion. Once in awhile you get someone who has a good attitude and are decent. Other than that, Moose’s is as local as it gets to Main Street Kalispell and has great pizza.

Cheap beer, low lights, great pizza-​what more do you need to know? Just visiting and loved this hole in the wall just off the main street. If you are not looking for it you will miss it-​just like the locals would prefer!
I had no problem with the service or the cleanliness. The bar was busy, but I had very little wait for a beer-​at a bargain price! Quite a selection on tap and the bartender easily directed me to the dark beers-​Guinness for my first choice. Then the pizza order.
You have to order and pay for it at a separate window-​I prefer cash so I had no problems, but I do not know if they take credit. Know your table before you order or you will have to come back and tell them! Pizza came out quickly and hot! Let it sit for 10 minutes so my fingers did not melt. The combo pizza was great!
Time for another beer-​Moose Drool this time. Again, no wait! The ambiance is not really a kid place, but no one had an issue with the 3 year old really enjoying the sawdust on the floor.
Locals love it, if you like well lit places with no history or character-​go to KFC down the street! If you like local places with great prices, find Moose’s Saloon and enjoy your evening!

Day drinkers, check.

Moose’s is a dark, divey bar for sure. And based on the number of people in there at 11am on a weekday, I’d say it is certainly a favorite spot for locals to hang out.
I’ve been there twice. Both times, to pick up a bunch of pizzas to take to a luncheon. Both times, I was dressed in slacks and a button-​up shirt. And both times, when the Asian guy wearing business casual walks into the bar, it’s like a scene from the movies where the record stops and all heads turn. Um, let’s just say I won’t be hanging out here when I have some time to kill. Don’t get me wrong — I know that everyone has a dirty dive bar somewhere that they just absolutely love for sentimental reasons. This one ain’t mine.
The pizza at Moose’s is pretty good. Don’t be expecting a NY style pie or anything like that. It’s Montana good. Which is hard to describe, even though I’ve been living here for a year already. The crust is thin and chewy, and the cheese is piled on like there was a massive sale at Costco for mozzarella that is about to expire and has to be used TODAY!

Good, but not great pizza. Well cooked. ordering is a little strange, need to go to a window to post. Note where you are sitting so you can tell them where to bring your pizza.
$ 2.50 beer during happy hour!

Zero stars and f possible. Janky and disgusting and not in that hipster way. As other reviewers have mentioned, yes there is sawdust on the floor but only to cover up what must be filth. The bartender had the most absolutely filthy rag to wipe the tables and bar with, and then he brings you your drink, which you put your mouth on?
And as other reviewers have mentioned, the 2 bartenders are completely rude. Why? Is this how local yocals enjoy being served?
And the pizza? The absolute worst pizza in all the world of all time in all of humanity even before time existed! Flat, tasteless, half burnt, half raw doughy. And why are the drinks so cheap? Because they come in smaller glasses.
Not a single redeeming quality about this place.
