Bonelli’s Bistro

Both the wife and I got Paninis, and they were good. Environment was nice, clean, and inviting. But, service was slow, and slightly tense?!

I have been here 3 times now and everytime I am glad to chose this place for brunch. Their sandwiches are very good. I had the huckleberry tea and it was also delicious. The wait is always long though, so its best to call beforehand. I would recommend this place for a good lunch if you are downtown! They also deliver if you want to eat at work.

Excellent sub sandwiches and salads. Causal. Easy going. Definitely will return & recommend.

I have never written a review but today things changed because I just had one of the best meals I have ever eaten! Owner Jeff has a menu that is both a mix of traditional Italian/​Mediterranean as well as contemporary, clean and inventive. We were passing through this small town and were so pleased to have had the best eggplant Parmesan I have ever had. Coming from a foodie background that is saying a lot. The pleasant atmosphere off a cheery courtyard also made the meal enjoyable. But most of all the staff and owner are passionate. You should try this place out!

We stopped into Bonelli’s Bistro because of the good reviews. We were disappointed. We ordered the mozzarella and tomato panini. The tomatoes were sliced so thinly you could see through them and there was about one teaspoon of mozzarella on each half of the sandwich. We asked for more cheese and received it. We will not go back.

We enjoyed our breakfast very much. Great food and good presentation and could accommodate my husband, who needs Gluten Free bread, with a very tasty gluten free roll. We would Reccomended your Bistro to anyone. Thanks for a good breakfast as we leave the area!

With all the great Unilocal reviews, I had high expectations for this place. I ordered the Greek chopped salad, which turned out to contain mostly Romaine lettuce. For $ 9, I would expect a more generous proportion of tomatoes, cucumbers, etc.

One of my absolute favorite places to eat. BLT’s will never be the same again. The atmosphere is great and the service is always up to my expectations. I absolutely love their food and would recommend it to anyone. There’s something here for any palate.

Delicious and fresh food. Get a wrap as a panini or a panini as a wrap! Gorgonzola dressing was amazing. They also offer an array of coffees! Yum!

This is by far one of the best restaurants in Kalispell. It can be difficult to find fresh food in Kalispell (sad, indeed) that is made with care and not full of unhealthy add-​ons. Thankfully, Bonelli’s is there to serve up something unique, filling and healthy. Not only is the owner really passionate about his food, but he is always there. This is a great restaurant and it always serves up great meals, freshly made and sourced locally. My favorite lunch spot in town!

Yummy! I won’t eat meat, and I’m trying to avoid dairy and gluten… You could imagine that makes going out to eat difficult (unless you REALLY like salad… ALL of the time). This place has something for everyone. Super happy with the options. I will be back.

I am a teacher and therefore don’t get to stop in at Bonelli’s during their open hours. However, we had a Monday off and a few teacher friends and I decided to check it okay. I was NOT disappointed. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The food smelled delicious and the staff was very friendly. I had the special, a panini take on a Cuban sandwich. DELICIOUS. I would recommend to anyone. My only complaint would be that they aren’t open on the weekends.

Thank heavens this family came to town and opened this restaurant. Thank you! Bonelli’s has raised the bar in the Flathead by giving the health minded, vegan, and vegetarian minorities in the valley something to rally around. Never had anything I didn’t like here. The lines can be long during peak serving hours, so you may want to call ahead.
What I enjoy about Bonelli’s is the bold, fresh, and lively energy they posses. It just shines through in the food. Go back and take a look at those photos on other posts. Yumm. The daughters all work well together running under the strong leadership of Dad who runs a tight and well organized operation. This family never got the memo that said — this is the old west and we only eat meat and potatoes here.
Hope they spread through the Valley like an August wildfire.

I’m sitting at Bonelli’s now and was shocked to realize I hadn’t written a review yet. I’ve been here a handful of times and have been super impressed every time. The first time I came here I got the special panini of the day, which was the Monte Cristo. OMG. Does Bonelli’s have an email club? Because I would drive out from Kila any time they told me it was back. Ever since I’ve gotten the Figscuitto, which is delectable. I would take a picture, but I inhale it immediately upon arrival. The side salad is fresh and I love the balsamic dressing. Today I ordered a vanilla soy latte — it could be better than City Brew. Could be. Go here.

I can’t wait to try everything here. Trouble is, I haven’t gotten very far because their salads are so fresh and flavorful. I love the Creamy Gorgonzola; it’s Blue Cheese’s prettier younger sister. The Pink Champagne vinegarette is unique and tangy. The salads, and in fact all of the ingredients in their dishes are freshly bought and freshly prepared. I finally branched out today for the Eggplant Parmigiano and I’m so glad I did. It’s my new favorite. My husband however is stuck on Carmello’s Chicken Parm sandwhich. Bonellis is a delectible choice and the quality is special for Montana. The ambience is inviting. Outdoor seating in the summer. Be prepared to wait in line and/​or wait for a seat. You’ll be happy you waited though :-)

Love their Roma panini. Seriously though, whatever you order here will be amazing. I love it all. Favorite place in town to go. Their soups are delicious. Coffee is nothing special, but their food is delicious.

Fresh food. Nicely prepared and presented. Reasonable prices. Plenty of stuff for non-​meat eaters, too. There may even be vegan stuff. (Oh, you’ll eat animals again someday. You’re just going through a phase.)
Arrived at 1:15 p.m., figuring I’d missed the lunch crowd. Nope. Stood in line at the counter for seven minutes, gave my order to the friendly, helpful staffer. Paid. Found a table. When I walked in I had the sense that I’d be lucky to eat in 25; the place was packed. Surprise, my meal arrived in another five. Apparently it is like this for much of the lunch period. Don’t let the queue deter you.
Good sign: More locals than tourists, perhaps in part because it is off the main road through town. Maybe Kalispellians – or whatever they call themselves – know a good thing when they find it. Flatheaders? Naw, they wouldn’t call themselves that, would they?
Sole complaint: The soup arrived warmish rather than hot. I should have sent it back, but it was good enough even at the less than ideal temperature to polish off a large bowl of it.
Would go again, or I should say, will go again. Check it out. I doubt that you’ll be disappointed.

Oh my what a yummy lunch @ such a reasonable price. The Homemade Lasagne special was delicious and cheesy in a tasty sweet tomato & sausage sauce. House salads with amazing homemade dressing selections. Panini’s looked amazing… Salads and Soups also made to perfection. Definitely worth stopping in for a lovely lunch.

This is by far one of the best restaurants in Kalispell, and defiantly one of my favorites! The staff is kind, the coffee is brewed perfectly, and the food is to die for! I come here often and it’s perfect every time. There panini’s are warm, melty, and crispy! There salads are cold, crisp, fresh, and they have some of the BEST salad dressings around! It’s a ‘order at the counter’ type service than you take your number, find a table, and wait. I have never waited more fifteen minuets for my food. This is by far a VERY great place, and I would (and DO!!) recommend it to anybody.
