Sweetwater’s Donut Mill

All those raving about this place are right on. Service is good, pastries and donuts are great. Plus their coffee is always fresh and good. Clean, friendly atmosphere.

I’ve been a frequent customer at both the Sprinkle Rd and Stadium Dr locations for a few years. The donuts are top tier and are a good deal for the price because of how big they are. The muffins are also good but can be a bit dry if you get them later in the day. The coffee is also good, like a breakfast blend, and they have a pretty wide variety of other drinks to pick from in coolers.

Heavenly. You walk in and get a wiff of the sugar and sweetness, its SO good! My favorite is the yeast donut filled with vanilla cream and topped with chocolate and a white drizzle (I think its called something cloud or something dream? I can never remember). They have so many different ones to choose from. The german chocolate one is pretty legit, carmello is intense.
If you just want a small treat, they usually have 6 – 7 flavors of donut holes. Or if you’re really hungry, you can get a cinnamon roll the size of your head or a long john that’s the length of your arm. No, I’m not kidding. This place takes their donuts seriously!
They have 3 locations, I’ve been to two. Both are friendly and speedy. Sweetwater’s is a must visit in K-zoo…and its open 24 hours!

So many variety of doughnuts to choose from. Some of the best that I have ever had. They serve you pretty fast and are open ²⁴⁄₇. They do a lot of orders also for businesses. Go and see what new flavor you have never tried and just may fall in love with.

I haven’t been here many times, but their donuts are the best. I need to get out and do more.

I really want to say good things about them. But today I received a filled donut with no filling and another donut that had the wrong filling. About 3 weeks ago I got another type of filled donut and this one was missing the filling too. Good donuts but poor attention to detail.

Best doughnuts i ever had! Even their icing is really good. They have so many too choose from that you need like 10 min to think. They are open ²⁴⁄₇ which is awesome, if i lived closer i probably be there every other day. When you enter the place it just smells like doughnut heaven!

There’s no way you can be in Kalamazoo and not grab a donut from here! AWESOME donuts and they are always moist. I love the regular glaze donut and the chocolate donuts. I wish there was a Sweetwaters everywhere!

Kalamazoo: Great donuts but stuck in the 1990s
The ‘Zoo is one of those backwater towns in the rust belt where many people have never embraced technology like tablets and smartphones. That’s why video rental stores like Family Video still flourish in late 2015 Kalamazoo while they have become anachronisms everywhere else.
That is also why Sweetwater’s Donut Mill, which makes great tasting donuts, emails coupons for a free donut on Thanksgiving Day yet won’t honor said coupon if you present your phone with said email.(which happened yesterday at 12:45 pm).
Nowhere in the email does it say you have to print it out (wasting part of a tree) and bring the printed copy to their store.
Thanks, Sweetwater’s. Great donuts. Now please move up into the 21^st Century, save a few trees, and honor coupons presented on smartphones.

I’m not a big donut person due to health, weight concerns. But if you want donuts that are locally made, this is the place.
I’d like them (or *some* donut place) to experiment with adding fiber to the donut batter &/​or real fruit — to make them at least a *little* bit healthier without changing the flavor too much. Just an idea, Sweetwater’s.

Absolute best donut shop on the planet. Do not feel guilty ordering a dozen if you’re only one person. You would not be the first and you won’t be the last. Totally worth gaining 10lbs. My favs are the sprinkle donut, grasshopper, glazed, and cinnamon sugar.

Have a sweet tooth for a specialty donut? This is the place to go. Amazing donuts with lots of creativity. Well worth the stop.

When I bite into a Bismark, the filling squirts out the other end and gets on my tie. I hate that.

Donuts are excellent! Their regular donuts are big enough to share and they have donuts that are even bigger than the regular donuts! They have an excellent variety of flavors, Boston Crème, Black Forest, peanut butter and jelly, carmello… the list goes on and on! The biggest problem with Sweetwater’s is you can only eat so many donuts at a time.
They are still priced well, it is less than $ 5.00 for half a dozen! Also, they are open 24/​7, smart in a college town!!!
I want a Sweetwater’s in my hometown…

This place has THE best donuts in the state at least. They have a huge selection of various flavors you generally can’t find anywhere else and are made to perfection each time. The prices are more than affordable and their coffee is delicious too. I’ve never been to the BC location but I’m sure it’s quite the same as the two Kalamazoo ones. Great places to just sit and relax with a donut and a coffee, at really any time of the day or night. This is an absolute local favorite… Making those who move out of state, miss this snowy state!
If you haven’t been, it’s very worth the drive.

Sweetwater’s was hopping when we stopped in this afternoon. My daughter enjoyed a chocolate frosted cinnamon roll (okay, she saved ²⁄₃ of it for later in the week), and I had a buttermilk glazed donut. Their fried donuts are perfection, so fresh, not overly frosted. It was a nice treat on this cold day.

What can I say that hasn’t been said before? These are the best donuts in the area. I love the Red Velvet when they have it. I pick up a variety of paczki for my office every year on Fat Tuesday.
In my experience, the donuts are more fresh in the mornings and afternoons. I picked some donuts up around 6:30pm the other day and was a little disappointed. It may have been a fluke, though.

Grabbed a couple of these donuts on the way out of town and I was pretty impressed! The cake donuts are both fluffy and densely cake-​y and the buttermilk glaze was the best!
The location is homey with a few tables for dine-​in seating and if you’re a local, you can even store your favorite coffee mug there to use when you visit! The place does a brisk business – it’s open 24 hours and even supplies some of the local convenience stores.
