When we moved back into our house we discovered we didn’t have any water in the kitchen. I called Roto-Rooter simply because they are a big name and it was Saturday afternoon and we were moving. We were exhausted and I needed simple. I explained to the very young girl on the phone that we had water everywhere in the house except for the kitchen and then asked if their rates were different on Saturday. She assured me weekend rates were not different, they did not charge a flat fee and she would send a plumber right out. An hour later a drain guy showed up. He was about the nicest drain guy on Earth, but he couldn’t help us, so he left and called his co-worker. When the plumber showed up it was explained to us that they have some problems with the girls who answer the phones, so our call was misrouted. The plumber(who reeked of cigarettes) «fixed» the sink by removing the internal filter on our faucet so we no longer have any pressure control. When he left we still had a leak under the sink. He was very personable, but he probably could use a plumbing lesson on not taking short cuts and laziness. I’ll do what I should have done from the start and call a small local plumber to fix the problem correctly. **Roto-Rooter accepts debit cards, but they wanted to write our card number down and«hold it» through the weekend because they don’t run numbers until Monday. What?!
