If you never had Thai food before… This place has the distinction of having the worst Tm Kha gai soup I’ve ever had AND. The absolutely greasiest spring rolls ever made. My wife got some sort of rice dish — no good. This is our first Thai food in Kalamazoo and it was quite a disappointment… Located near campus — that explains a lot…

This Thai restaurant is similar but different than the other Thai restaurants in the area. I like all of them, but I prefer the pad Thai at this one. I can’t speak to any of the other dishes because I haven’t had the will power to get anything but the deluxe pad thai. It is very good, a big portion, and the spiciness is legit. I hope they open back up during lunch time, until then Thai Cuisine for lunch then All Thai for dinner.

All Thai? More like NO Thai! Let me preface by saying Thai is my favorite type of food. I have experienced a more authentic flavor from frozen Thai fusion dishes and from my own kitchen, using ingredients found at the local supermarket! This is very disappointing to me, as I was excited by the prospect of a Thai restaurant opening up that delivers and that is so close WMU. These are without a doubt the worst renditions of Thai I have had in the entire state of Michigan, and I have eaten a LOT of Thai in the Metro Detroit area(probably have ordered from 75% of them), some in Chicago, and the other three locations in the immediate area(two in Kalamazoo and one in Portage). I ordered from All Thai when they first opened and was equally appalled, but I decided to give them another try a few months later, thinking it was just an off day. Well, unless lightning struck twice, I would say this is just POORLYDONE Thai food. My all-time favorite dish is Gang Kew Warn(a green curry), so I ordered it for a second time, despite a horrendous experience the first time. Just like the last time, the coconut milk was hardly discernible, nor were there any of the other flavors I am accustomed to. What there was instead was an overabundance of oil! I have never in my life seen so much oil used in a dish PERIOD, let alone Thai food. If I siphoned all the oil from the container and poured it into a skillet, I could fry something and it would be fully saturated. I am not exaggerating when I estimate about half a cup to a cup of oil just swimming in what should have been the curry sauce(the estimate is hampered by a pool of oil that leaked into the bag). And each bite was a mouthful of oil. I knew I was in for an unpleasant surprise because the first thing I noticed before opening the box was that the smell was wrong. I ordered Tom Kha last time and it too tasted about as authentic as a Haitian trying to make Thai. Is there anyone in the kitchen that is from Thailand? Or anywhere else in Southeast Asia? As a spice enthusiast, I have to say the«hot» that I ordered was closer to medium but by no means hot. Those who cannot handle the heat may be comforted by the fact that the food will be significantly less spicy than intended. Perhaps I just ordered two dishes they are not proficient in, but I have lost all confidence to try anything else. I originally rated them 1 star, but added another for the generous portion size(barring the rice, which was not full) and the fact that it doesn’t taste awful. But it sure as hell doesn’t taste like Thai food either. I will be satisfying all my Thai cravings at Bangkok Flavor, even though it is inconveniently located for me. Even Thai Cuisine, whose food I think is just as nondescript as its name beats the this brutalized bastardization of Thai food. What a disgrace! It had everything going for it. :(

homestyle Thai food. huge portions, cheap pricing, and quick turnaround. we forgot to call ahead and ordered takeout at the counter instead — ended up leaving with our pad Thai in less than 10 minutes. warning: their spice levels are no joke. medium here was hella spicy.

The food here is bad… really bad. I love Thai cuisine and the drunken noodle I ordered was nothing more than dorm food soaked in a pool of hot oil. The flavors are funky and I lost my apatite because of it. Crab rangoons were barely filled with plain cream cheese. Basically a homemade chip. My busy got fried rice and it was bland. And for $ 14, what a rip off. I wouldn’t pay $ 3 for that crap. The place is brand new and probably will be out of business once the unassuming first-timers all leave dissatisfied. They weren’t busy at all(which should’ve been a clue to me), so on the plus side it only took(and I’m not kidding) 3 minutes for both my buddy’s and my box of garbage to come out.

Probably my least favorite Thai place. I had the crab rangoons and Tom kha soup which is what I usually get from other Thai restaurants. Crab rangoons were honestly the worst I’ve had they were very chewy and the filling had no flavor. Tom kha was just chicken in the soup broth and usually contains other vegetables traditionally. Decent flavor but just ok. Overall edible but not great. Would not be a return customer.

I love Thai food and I was cautiously optimistic when I saw the sign for this place. I ordered carryout and went home to enjoy the meal. I always appreciate it when I ask for spicy food and the food I receive is actually spicy. The masaman beef curry was excellent. I will be back to try more dishes.

I am so excited to have this new Thai place next to WMU. I ordered lunch here the other day for take out. I had the Beef Peanut Curry Noodle. It was SO good. Even my husband who is not a big fan of curry loved it. The portions were big. The prices were very reasonable, and the people were friendly! I also asked them about delivery, and they said they do deliver. This will be great when I can’t leave campus. At least there’s a great option to get lunch from that will deliver!
