Where do they even deliver — people on the phone do not know where they can and cannot go. And they have no real deals. Not good

Huge rip off! Don’t order delivery! Driver showed up with only enough change to get himself a $ 10 tip! Called and complained with no satisfaction. I would always tip $ 3-$ 5 but not $ 10! Scammers. Lucky you stay in Kauai and not my home town of Detroit. Never again. Costco pizza next time. $ 10, more pizza, no scam ass punk delivering!

FOODPOISONING. we ordered from this Pizza Hut last night because it was getting late and there were six of us who hadn’t eaten for most of the day — our pizza came, we ate, and all spent the large majority of our sleeping hours fighting over the four bathrooms that exist between our neighbors and us. Two of the victims were still sick in the morning making them late for work… I called(the call center, they wont actually route you to your area store) demanding a refund for the $ 35 we spent and they said they’d have an outside insurance company call me back in 4 or 5 days regarding the possibility of a refund. YUM Corporation — how you are still in business is beyond me. This company invested over 1BILLION dollars last year toward company growth with the intention of investing another 1BILLIONDOLLARS toward future growth in 2013 and you’re telling me I CAN’T GETMY $ 35BACKONSOMETHINGYOUPOISONEDMEWITH??? Go to Pizzetta’s, Go to Brick Oven — anywhere but Pizza Hut, Taco Bell or KFC. These people will take your hard earned cash and unapologetically POISON you with it. YUM Corporation — i hope you lose every penny for the nutritionless crap you’ve been feeding the world.

We finally decided to try out this Pizza Hut, and we must say it was actually really good. The pepperoni pizza was probably the least greasy of any we had eaten in a long time, and definitely the least of any pizza hut we had previously been too. The breadsticks and cina-sticks were both pretty good as well. The whole $ 10 dinner box costing $ 17 in Hawaii is still a point of discussion, however, and for that reason alone, this place loses some points. All things considered, the pizza is probably just as good(if not better) then the much more expensive Brick Oven Pizza across the street, and it is much cheaper, but the ridiculous and unexplainable difference in price between this place and the mainland is a huge disappointment. It should be mentioned, though, that the menu item which seemed to be raised the most in price was the very item we came to order which has been advertised numerous times on TV and radio in the islands for a much lower price.

I seriously contemplated giving this place 4 stars but I just couldn’t because it IS a Pizza Hut. What I will give this place is it’s props. Located almost across the street from Brick Oven Pizza, this place kicks it’s ass! AND it’s less than half the price! Look, I know it’s Pizza Hut. I’m not a fan of chain restaurants but I am a fan of a decent meal at a decent price. Compared to Brick Oven, this is far superior. They have delivery, which is a real bonus anywhere in Hawaii and the food is exactly what you might expect… maybe even better. Their pastas are tasty, the breadsticks suck and their salads are fresh but ask for an extra salad dressing since they are too big for just one. Sorry Brick Oven, you are slipping quickly from local favorite to local joke since many in the neighborhood would rather order from this place than you. My family and self included.
