From the road and from the harbor you’d not know there’s a small span of picturesque hiding here. The area looks old and run down but if you move to this point it’s like everything you see in the postcards. A great place to chill before heading to the airport and leaving«paradise»

Picking a place to get married can be tough. It can be even tougher when wedding package sites like to misname locations and will not tell you where the exact location is unless you book with them. This was the case for our wedding. We picked the island and the area, but finding the perfect spot became like solving a murder mystery. We found one website in particular that had pictures of a beautiful looking grassy area adjacent to the ocean; (second one from the bottom). We searched and searched but could not find any other references to «Harbor Park» on Google or any other site. After installing Google Earth and sleuthing through all available satellite pictures, we found it! Right on the very tip of the entrance to this small boat harbor, was a tiny 15’x30’ grassy area. We booked our wedding through another company, and the provided minister knew exactly where this spot was once I gave her directions. Once we were on the island, one of the first things we did was to drive out there to make sure it was as good as the pictures and it was! Our wedding here was nothing like I expected it to be, but was everything I hoped it could be. This is an absolutely beautiful location that is kept hidden by many wedding sites. It’s public land and not on a «beach,» so there is no reason to pay a site fee or get a beach permit. The pictures you will get with the wave crashing against the rocks are priceless.
