Dee is great! Living in Hawaii it’s difficult to find someone who truly knows how to blowout fine complicated curly hair or at least understand how roller setting is important before what many Latinas call a Dominican blowout. I love that Dee is professional and gets down to business. Her work is magnificent. You will not be disappointed. I hope I find someone that can do my hair in Hawaii. Thank you again for your time Dee.

Dee is WONDERFUL at what she does, not only is she quick she is GOOD! I have very kinky curly hair and she was able to smooth my curls out to a beautiful silky straight style, what normally takes other stylists 2.5 hours she did in 1 hour for half the price. I came to Dee because she came highly recommended by friends and her Facebook page had many positive reviews, I was almost discouraged to try her out because of the Unilocal reviews, however I am so glad I did! I normally don’t write Unilocal reviews, to be honest I only write them when I have a negative experience (shame on me), but she truly earned herself a positive review! I highly recommend her and I would say she was extremely professional and very genuine.
Today was my first visit, and I’ve already made 4 more appointments between now and the beginning of November– she’s just that good, and we all good stylists are hard to come by especially for curly haired ladies.

I recently got my hair done by Dee and she is amazing!!! Her salon is so clean and very inviting. I have had zero scheduling conflicts with her and she always makes time to accommodate the needs of her clients. She produces quality work and I have never been disappointed. If I could I would give her 5++++++ stars. She truly has passion for the work she does and genuinely cares about her clients being 110% satisfied. She has also made it a point to accommodate my youngest daughter when I took her to get a hair cut. Thank you so much Dee!!! I will remain your loyal customer!

I heard about Dee from a co-​worker who has incredibly beautiful blond hair that looked natural. I also liked the fact that she works for herself, an independent small business owner. What I didn’t know was her business practice ethic. I set up an appointment for highlights two weeks prior, a few days before my wedding. I work 50 – 60 hr weekdays and weekends were the only available time. Dee stated she doesn’t work on Sundays so I booked for Sat at 1100. The day before, I went out to dinner and left my phone at home. When I returned at 10pm, there were text msgs and phone calls from Dee timed at 722 pm. The msg stated she had another client who needed to get her hair done and wanted to know if I would show up for the 1100 appointment. I texted back and confirmed the time. She texted back stated «I’m sorry but I thought you weren’t coming and couldn’t wait. I tried calling and texted twice. If you want, I can see you around 5PM.» I already had a gathering to attend and I was flying out in two days. I find this kind of business practice very unethical and unreliable. Just because I didn’t text back within 3 hrs, give away an appointment I made two weeks ago? Her preference of one client over me totally turned me off. I found this very disrespectful of my time, for a career woman who has very little time to squeeze in a «me time.» Dee’s total disregard and disrespect for my precious time affords one star – I would give her a minus star if I could.

Dee is great at cutting and doing hair! BUT when it comes to people with kids. Not so much!
I loved going to Dee’s even though I had to wait forever either for an appointment or for her to actually get started on my hair…
She has no help it’s just her… But I didn’t mind. But I recently STOPPED going because… My son had got sick the day of my appoint and I had to cancel last min… When I text her to let her know I cannot come in. She was rude and tried to make me feel bad for canceling on her!!!

She told me, you have cancelled last min before. But I have a son and I have other things in life that are more important than getting my hair done!
Her professionalism went out the door and I stopped going and found a girl who is honestly amazing! And is so kid friendly and BETTER parking and CLOSER to MCBH Kaneohe base!
