I just finished treatment, feeling more calm and refreshed. The ache in my left wrist away. I am a first-​time mom, so this was much needed. Dr. Kurosu is a true professional, warm, accommodating, listens and responds. Would highly recommend her if you live in Kailua or need a calming treatment. Beautiful office! Located not far from Walgreen’s and Zippy’s.

Saw Dr. Kurosu earlier this summer for epigastric discomfort. She did an acupuncture treatment and prescribed some herbs which helped quite a bit. She also recommended I follow up with my family physician when the discomfort did not clear up as quickly as it should’ve. It turned out I had gastritis which has since resolved. Dr. Kurosu has a medical background which is why I felt I was in excellent care with her knowledge of both eastern and western medicine. She is very caring and professional and was able to explain to me what and why I needed to rule out certain things through medical testing. I am grateful she was involved in my care during that ordeal. I went back to her today for an acupuncture treatment for a stiff neck from traveling last week and I feel so much better! She is amazing!!!

Stop looking for an acupuncturist, you found her! I have had Dr. Kurosu work with me in a number of settings for different alignments over many years. She is extremely gifted, caring and knows her stuff. Here ability to listen to your needs and create a plan to address them is spot on. If you are looking for an integrative approach (MD + acupuncture) look no further, in fact even if you are not, she is an outstanding acupuncturist in all ways. The office is beautiful, new and peaceful. She values your time and does not keep you waiting. Each time I leave I feel completely filled up and in much less pain than when I walked in.

This was my very first acupuncture, and it was an incredible experience. Dr. Kurosu immediately made me feel at home from the moment I walked through the door. Her office is exceptionally clean and beautifully, well decorated with modern décor. .. a very relaxing environment. After obtaining my health history, she began the acupuncture treatment for my sore neck and shoulder. She has a soft touch and I barely knew the needles were going in. She was very good at explaining the process and what to expect. I was so relaxed during the treatment that I nearly fell asleep! By the time I walked out the door, my neck and shoulder pain were greatly reduced, and now I’m hooked on the idea of acupuncture. I highly recommend Dr. Kurosu.
