How do you run out of strawberry syrup. And the cost of one serving is $ 5.50 without the icecream. Great taste but not enough syrup and it’s overpriced. Hard to find parking.

The best shave ice in Kailua — and maybe all of Oahu! Super delicious and natural flavors for your ice. Loved the seasonal and unique flavors! Wish I had discovered this place at the start of my trip instead of the end!

The shave ice is good here! Cute décor, nice staff. I got the strawberry(tasted like real strawberries, not that super fake red food coloring kind that most places have) and lychee(yum!). I also tried the orange(good), mango, and the pickled mango(not so good — it tasted like straight up vinegar… and I normally enjoy vinegar-y items, it was just not for me). A bit on the pricy side, but well worth it for the nice soft ice and fresh flavors made from local products! Love it!

I never tried their shaved ice but I definitely will try next time I’m in the area. The other half of the boutique is a clothing store which I thought that was unique. We found this cute boutique looking for a place to grub because the line at boots and kimos is always ridiculously long. The store selection on items is simple with a comfy vibe… which I love. I bought a shoots vneck tee and a make-up bag and I’m so happy with my purchase. Just one star off cuz it’s a bit on the pricey side.

The best shave ice with the most unique flavors I’ve ever had. They have their syrup made by a local popsicle company and develop their own flavors made with real fruit and no added sugar or colorings. It was plenty sweet. I had ginger, lychee, and pineapple. My husband had orange, lime, and pineapple. So good and the owner was super friendly and really cares about making it great.

This is THE best shaved ice I have ever had in my life! NATURAL flavorings people, super intense delicious flavors! The ginger is to DIE for, strawberry Li Hing was SOGOOD, it was maroon not RED. Guess why? Duh cause it’s actually REAL strawberry!!! Also tried the Lilikoi, coffee, crack seed, chili pepper… They were all so good, they tasted REAL. This place is going to explode, what for iiiittttttt

Our family’s new favorite place for shaved ice! My boys loved the local freshly made flavors! We tried the Kula Strawberry, Mountain apple & Chili peppa with a scoop of real vanilla ice cream on the bottom. Good sized in a bowl that I shared with my 3&5 year old. Very yummy & refreshing! Take time to look around at other merchandise they offer. Very cool :0)

I have been following AlohaSunday on Instagram for awhile but their shops were on the mainland so alas I admired from a far. Even though they catered more for menswear they did have some awesome pieces for women too. You can imagine I was so stoked to hear that they opened up a store in KAILUA! Ok if you’ve read my other reviews Kailua is my dream neighborhood! Of course I had to drag my family to see this place. When we got there it didn’t look exactly like their other shop in the mainland but it still had that same charm almost like a loft on the beach kind of look. It was very simple and clean and I love all the different types of wood they had in the store. They had men’s and women’s clothing but what caught my eye was all their accessories!!! They had some pretty rad sunglasses, stamped letter jewelry, wooden tea light candle holders, wood iPhone covers, towels, rugs, and a sling shot made of wood!!! Oh and I can’t forget that hat with the word KOOK on it. Haha! I want to be a Kook! If you’re into the whole what I call styled beach look this store has that vibe. I ended up purchasing a good size rug that I will actually be using as a beach mat soon. It will make some nice pictures during sunset. The rug was $ 60 and there was also a towel for around $ 30 that I wanted but I will be back for that. Last but not least SHAVEICE! Looks like they share a space with The Local Hawaii. Shave ice flavors are pretty different so ask if you’re not familiar. My family and I got Strawberry Li Hing, Mountain Apple, and Lilikoi. There is also a scoop of vanilla ice cream right in the middle. Oh Kailua!!! You just get better and better…

Super AWESOME spot in the heart of Kailua. Your best stop for delicious shave ice made with home brewed natural syrups using locally grown fruits and other goodies(ginger, Kona Coffee, and much more.) And of course with light, fluffy and airy ice shaved to perfection — it was a refreshing and tasty treat for everyone. Also a cool array of clothes, accessories and gear for both men and women available too. Can’t wait to come back!
