Joey was quite hesitant about taking my 77 year old pops on a flight… I don’t blame him. Joey admitted my pops was the oldest person he ever took up. My dad did prove to him that age is just a number.
My dad is a vibrant 77 year old who wants to experience EVERYTHING. He’s got quite an extensive Bucket List which we’ve been shooting down for about a decade now.
Paragliding with Joey was one of his top 3… and my dad has done everything. Traveled the world (cruise ships, planes, bullet trains, etc…), sky-​dived, zip lined, and so much more.
Joey & this company took great care of us & we’re truly grateful for this experience.

This was an amazing experience! Joey and his colleague, Doug, were professional, knowledgeable, & friendly. Despite pre-​flight jiters, they explained everything in a comprehensive, yet simple, manner and I realized my friend and I were in good hands. The flight above Makapuu was breathtaking. The whole experience was so much more chill than I expected… and so much fun doing 360’s at full speed! I’ll def do this again with these guys!

My boyfriend and I booked our paragliding tour with Joey and had an amazing experience. Joey and his friend and colleague Ray were definitely experts and communicated everything perfectly from meeting up, coaching us for the launch and landing, and even explained the scenery around the corner of the island! They had all the latest gear and the launch site is very well maintained too which was very comforting. If you want G force, these guys will bring it. Get ready forrrr «The Stratosphere!»

Its a crazy and at the same time amazing exprience, i never thought someday i would do this kind of stuff but i found myself on top of the sky and loved it.

My wife surprised me with tandem paragliding as an anniversary activity that we could do together (I’ve always wanted to try it). She arranged everything with Joey and on the day we flew, Joey and Doug gave us an awesome experience; We had a total blast! It was our first time paragliding and I have to admit that it seems daunting, but Joey and Doug made us feel well prepared and ready to fly. I went Paragliding on March 27^th with Joey and Doug at Makapu’u Beach Park. It was the first time in my life doing this and what an amazing experience. We were up for about one hour at heights around 1800 feet. These guys are true professionals. I felt safe the entire time and would recommend Joey and Doug to anyone considering Paragliding while on Oahu.

One of the best experiences I’ve ever had on Oahu. Joey is extremely personable, professional and knowledgeable about paragliding; he will make your first flight experience unforgettable. Starting out from our launch point above Makapuu Beach, we glided over the lighthouse and back toward Waimanalo with views of the entire Koolau range and over into Hawaii Kai and Honolulu. A must-​do for anyone visiting or living on the island!

If your looking for something amazing to do… choose this! I was with a group of 4 and we were torn between skydiving with a different company, or paraglide with Aloha Paragliding and Adventure Tours instead. We went with the longer thrill, and I do not regret choosing this a bit!!! One full hour of perfect photos! Joey was my pilot and he was great! He answered any questions I had and was always making sure i was enjoying myself. Right from when i spoke to him on the phone I could tell he was a really nice and he definitely knew his stuff. What I experienced in the air was something majestic. From feeling the wind breeze all around me, to seeing the island of oahu from a birds view. I cannot wait to try this again. He also gave me a gopro on a telescoping lens with a fisheye lens (great idea by the way!!) and allowed me to control the camera throughout the entire flight. You are also allowed to bring your own camera if you’d like too but I would still recommend getting this anyways for a different view than from your helmet and lens. Ask to spiral :):):), it’s great for those of you that enjoy that g-​force on your body. Thanks Joey!!!

If you want to have a truly unforgettable experience and be able to brag about how cool your trip was, then get hooked up with Joey. He took me on a paragliding ride and it was one of the most incredible things I have ever done! Will definitely be telling my friends and family to call him and go fly the sky! Mahalo Joey!

I had Joey take my 55 year old dad on a tandem paraglide. Joey was very thorough on preparing my dad for the flight and very patient answering all his questions, making sure he was ready for the flight. Joey’s years of experience paragliding guaranteed my dad an hour of flight time even on a day with some complicated weather. Ill be recommending all my friends and family to contact Joey at Aloha Paragliding and Adventure tours!

what an amazing experience! joey was so knowledgeable i trusted him completely. i let both my 13 year old son & 11 year old daughter do a tandem paraglide adventure with him. they both loved every second of it. my daughter constantly asks when she can go again!
