Quite easy to find. On strip mall facing road close to the FedEx store. Very friendly and quick. Food is very good. A bit surprised that I can’t ask for specific«hotness» as I’m used to in Thai restaurants. The served food is tasty but had no heat. Myself always gets very spicy food, this was a disappointment. Salads are all dinner size. I like to have a small simple salad with peanut souce that ufortunately I couldn’t get here. The reason for few stars is the lack of hotness that is very important for me. If you usually order 0 or 1 for hotness, this place is perfect for you because the food has great flavor

I was seriously jonesing for some Tom Yum before I picked up my Krispy Kreme stash. I was seriously disappointed! Tom Yum soup that is sweet? They must be getting some Krispy Kreme fumes from down the road?!? Service was good but then again I was the only one there at lunch time… Should have been an indicator!

My Food was decent but the service wasn’t my favorite. Ginger chicken was very good, rice was chewy.

Ehhhhhh. We were starving so we stopped by. The menu was huge as in a lot of options. So if you are in a hurry, you will probably pick the wrong thing based on time. I got the yellow curry with chicken. 12 mins later, food came out. It was piping hottttttt. So I waiting, added the sticky rice and boom. Not impressed. Spicey, good, over all flavor, not feeling it. Then when it’s cold, yuck. Thanks but no thanks.

Wonderful food. I agree with most that it is way over priced. But I believe they do a lot of products house made that’s why their prices are higher. My mom and I ordered 4 dishes and an appetizer just for us two because we hadn’t eaten all day and wanted leftovers-but we left with no boxes because we literally ate everything. I think for their smaller portion sizes, atmosphere and the type of service they provide(very casual) they should lower their prices, but if you love Thai-try it out.

We were happy to find out that Tiki Thai took over the other Thai place that was there a year ago or so. The new owners really cleaned the place up. Nice atmosphere. The FOOD was ono! VERY fresh and decent prices(for Maui) & portions. We ordered the Swimming Rama. The chicken was fire grilled and had great flavor while the veggies were slightly steamed to perfection. It had this amazing peanut sauce and sprinkled over the top ground peanuts. We also got the ginger chicken and the green curry. BOTHFRESH&WONDERFUL! The brown rice cooked perfectly. We had left overs between the 3 of us. I gave it to my husband when I got home. Now he wants to go! Yea !! I get to go back and eat more yummy Thai food!

Great food and very fresh. We stopped on our way to the airport for a meal before our flight. We had the green curry and pad Thai, both were excellent. Spice was just right, ingredients were fresh and the service was fast. We enjoyed the meal and would recommend it!

Okay so here’s the deal: FOODISSOOVERPRICED. We ordered Gyoza, advertised 10 for 12.99. We got 5 small Gyoza for 12.99. The Pad Thai was actually pretty good but not for about $ 14 – 15 each. If it was in the $ 10 range it would have been better. But who honestly likes spending $ 40 on lunch? Not me or my husband. It’s Maui, so I guess that’s the norm but it’s totally annoying. If anyone knows of a good Thai place on Maui please let me know!

Probably one of the worst Thai places I’ve been to. The place is small and disguises itself as a «ritzy» Thai cuisine place, but in reality it’s located in a mini mall off the highway. We decided to check it out because we had the craving for Thai food after our race that morning. After a long run all you want is carbs and water. From the menu, although it was expensive the portion sizes looked big from the menu. I figured for $ 12.99, chicken pad Thai, I was going to get a decent portion. Coming from Washington, Pad Thai portions were always large and filling. When the pad Thai came out it was smaller than I expected and not representative of the picture on the menu. We also ordered gyoza, labeled at 10 pieces for 12.99. They only brought out 5 and charged us $ 12.99 still. And they were completely fried to a crisp and very small, unlike how they were in the picture. I would recommend other places for Thai cuisine before going here.

You know it is a real Thai place when they serve papaya salad. They have lots of choices and this place is really cute and quaint. It’s a small family owned business and they are really friendly. We ordered the papaya salad, and a couple of the lunch specials which was a great portion for us. Their Thai tea is also very good.

I was craving Thai cuisine a week before coming to Maui. I wished that I did choose to dine in here after arrival from the airport, but decided to do take out instead. Truth be told, I wouldn’t have a parking spot at the hotel for the night. #Truth I saw the Unilocal reviews for Tiki Tiki Thai cuisine restaurant and saw on some that they have the best curries on Maui. That simply amazed me and intrigued me, to say the least. Based on what I have had before in Honolulu and on the mainland US, it was a treat to come and check things out here at Tiki Tiki Thai cuisine in Kahului, Maui. I arrived here around 8pm on a casual Friday night after flying out of Honolulu on the heels of a 3 day long Dr MLK Jr weekend. The restaurant was small, but large enough to accommodate about 30 – 40 people at one time. Half of the restaurant was empty when I stepped in and I decided to just do take out. After browsing the menu for a good 5 minutes, my first impressions is that they do authentic Thai cuisine. There’s no doubt about that. The overall experience here, even though, it was a take out situation, was good and decent. Service was good and quick. The only issue I had, being a budget traveler, is that they are kind of pricey. Pricey for a lot of menu items. The average price on the menu is around $ 15, which was a little up there for me. Clearly sticker shock, but supporting local businesses is a good thing. Tiki Tiki Thai cuisine restaurant is located on 395 Dairy Road in a shopping complex in Kahului. They accept visa and MasterCard, so it was a shame that I couldn’t use my American Express. Lol For what it’s worth, the restaurant itself was cozy and definitely a nice ambiance and quiet atmosphere. You can do date nights here for sure and it’s quite nice for a Friday night dinner here on Maui. Quite nice and a positive spot for anytime during your stay on Maui/Kahului area. For me on this visit to Tiki Tiki Thai Cuisine, I ultimately decided on the massaman yellow curry and an order of large sticky rice. After signing the credit card slip, I estimated the large order of sticky rice was around $ 8 – 9! It was kind of crazy for rice, but what can you do when you haven’t had Thai food for a while. Well, maybe a week. I’m a junkie, I know. Lol I feasted in my hotel room while watching television and the curry was good over the sticky rice. The creamy texture of the curry was delicious and it was just a welcome respite from the usual fare that I was having. Stopped by McDonalds nearby for drinks and extras. It was fun carb loading affair and would not have trade this experience for anything else. The staff here at Tiki Tiki Thai cuisine was young, like they were either fresh out of high school or in college. Friendly staff and nice to be here. While this place was a little pricey, the atmosphere and ambiance will help. I would recommend this place for anyone who loves authentic Thai. Support local! B+

Tiny little place that had the AC cranked up – it was freezing in there. That being said it was good Thai food. They oddly enough didn’t give any option for how spicy you wanted your dish. Mine came out perfect, but it was pretty mild for my husbands taste.

Stumbled upon this place and decided to grab some dinner. The food was standard Thai fair. Nothing to scream back to the mainland about. It is a bit pricey but I guess I expect that here. The biggest knock I would give us the slow service. Overall an average experience.

Deeeeelish! We adored Pon and her suggestive upsell and attention to detail. She inspired my boyfriend to learn to cook Thai. She even gave us complementary dessert. Amazing food, ambiance and service! If I could give it more than five stars, I would.

Nice ambiance with several tables. Service was slow – there were only 2 other tables full yet the hostess/server/cashier only dealt with one table at a time; when the other tables had been served, she finally came to take our order. A common problem in Thai places is that there is no one standard of spicy, so we always ask what the scale is. Here it was 1 – 5, so we all ordered a 3 which should be medium. My husband had the pad see ew, my son the fried rice and I had the pad thai Ma Ma. My husband’s came out super spicy so that he could barely eat it and had to cut it with my son’s rice which was just right. Mine was not spicy at all. So 2 out of 3 had the wrong spiciness when they should have all been the same. Won’t be back.

Easy lunch in Kahului! Close to airport: check! It’s important to get some food if you are hungry since everything is a drive in Maui. If you miss this little strip shops/mall part, you’ll be waiting for a while. Like a good forty minutes wait. So better get your grab on. This was cool and new so to speak. I got take out since I didn’t want to spend too much time waiting, rather start driving. The lady was sweet! Called in for order. And I waited a little time still. Drunken noodles — nice. I asked for spicy but it wasn’t spicy enough. Still good though. Pad thia — a little dry for my taste! Red curry — I ended up not eating so much of this because I got full from tasting the previous dishes. Overall, it was a quick and easy lunch. Not mind blowing or anything for me. But its a good choice in this area if you want something besides the island grubs!

Take me back!!! Takes me back to Thailand for sure! Lived in Asia back in 99 and have hardly been able to eat Thai food since cuz its usually so unauthentic… here, hot means hot and its DELICIOUS!!! Got the chicken satay first to ‘test the waters’ as ‘hawkerstand’ satay in Penang Malsysia is to die for… it was great! Then i tried the yab yum beef salad which at medium heat was just perfect. We got the green curry chicken hot and is was outta this world! Penang curry shrimp also delish… We came for Valentine’s lunch and I couldn’t be happier!!! Only open two months… these guys are destined for greatness! They did a WONDERFUL job on the remodel with an emphasis on simple and clean… tile floors, snazzy little tables. If u like Thai… don’t miss this place!!!
