We visit this premier lounge every dang year and I never really have high hopes for it. The expectation just isn’t there that this is going to be a 5 star experience. They changed the entrance to the lounge and spruced it up a teeny tiny bit, but is still severely lacking when it compares to the premier lounges of competing airlines. The lack of snacks and drinks are sort of sad. it isn’t all that large in size and does not have enough charging stations. Sorry Hawaiian.

Clean but sad. No bathroom. Airplane snack bags? Seriously? Free coffee and soda is the only saving grace. @HawaiianAirlines, this is easily improved.

A Nice and clean place to sit with a/c. You can get a soda or coffee, but that is about it. That is, IF you can get someone to let you in because the door still rarely works. A frequent flyer«lounge» maybe… Definitely not a «Premier Club»

I’ve been in the United premier lounges a couple of times before and they were really nice(nice bathrooms, beer and wine, full bar in larger airports, snacks and small appetizers). I was excited that shelling out extra money on a first class flight gained us access to the lounge. Uh, this is the lamest excuse for a premier/first class lounge I’ve seen. Only a worn down soda machine, some coffee machines, and empty jars with plane snack packs in them. No attendant, no bathrooms, signs everywhere saying NOOUTSIDEFOODALLOWED. Hard to find too. So basically a quieter place to sit and wait for your flight than the terminal. At least it’s air conditioned.

Cold. Blaring infomercial on TV. Big signs saying no outside food, but only pretzels in lounge along with a partially broken soda machine. Have to go outside to use the bathroom. No attendant in lounge. At least it wasn’t crowded since most of those who did come in turned around and walked out.

Your first class boarding pass should open the door but it did not for us in two different visits. Even the access pass they gave us did not work. We basically got in by getting someone inside to open the door. Pros Nice chairs Lots of places to plug in Hot tea and coffee Soda dispenser. Cons Only snacks are the ones you get on the plane No restroom The drink dispenser was out of 3 of the 5 choices in one of our visits. Meh

Its great to be able to cool off and refresh before i get back on another plane. HA has done a great job remodeling the lounge here and on the other islands too. Waiting to see the ITO once its completed.

3÷31÷2015 Poor, sad, disappointing, what can I say. No code required. There is a scanner outside the lounge that reads your boarding pass, then unlocks the door. Facility has been remodeled, however, the soda machine is not calibrated properly and gives out too much carbonated water, the coffee was Luke warm and disgusting, and there were no snacks. A sign clearly states«No Outside Food or Beverage» The lounge is not staffed.

I know they are remodeling the lounge in the maui airport and they should because this was just sad. Sad soda machine, sad coffee and hidden nut packs at the deserted front desk. We had the ring the bell for about 3 minutes before another passenger came to let us in. Not even sure it qualifies as a lounge. I guess you can bring food in so maybe it’s just a quiet spot to rest. No free drinks, so don’t even think about a Mai Tai… I hope the new one is better. Until them, stay at Starbucks.

Lounge was pretty chilly but I personally like the AC cranked. Kids had to put on their sweatshirts though. There’s a soda fountain and coffee to drink and packages of airplane snacks but they allow you to bring in outside food. What I really liked was the workstations: good amount of workspace, outlet easily accessible and comfortable office chair. I was able to setup so I could meet a deadline before boarding.

The first time I flew Hawaiian last year to Maui, my ticket included«Premier» Club Lounge access. What I didn’t know was that there is no lounge or partnership with other airline lounges in Seattle(or anywhere outside of Hawaii except LA, where Hawaiian air has a lounge)…so much for that. Where there *are* lounges, they are small, and, although clean, are about a «premier» as a doctor’s waiting room. Usually there is no attendant, and if they don’t give you the keypad access code, you have to knock on the door and hope someone lets you in. The exception was Honolulu. The lounge there is large and had an attendant, but was still«Doctor’s Waiting Room Premier». The only amenities are soft drinks, coffee, and the same snack bags handed out during flight. Hawaiian Air sells Premier Club memberships for $ 299. Do yourself a favor and save your money.

This lounge is lame. All it has is a soda fountain machine and coffee. Nothing I can take with me on the plane like the can juice Hawaiian has at their LAX lounge nor even the small plastic juice containers that they have in the HNL lounge. No bathroom, no agent to help with any seat changes/ticket issues if they arise. The only reason it gets two stars vs one is that it isn’t dirty nor very crowded(but what on Maui is?) so it’s quiet. Also, it’s kind of nice that they give you a code to punch into the number pad at the door for access, which makes it easier to go in and out if needed. Good of them to have a tv screen with the departure status and times as well. Generally pretty lame as far as airline lounges go.

I totally agree with the previous poster’s comments. It doesn’t take much to do it right but they’re clearly not trying. Yes, they have coffee and soft drinks and there are semi-comfortable chairs but it’s nothing special. Air conditioned but it feels and smells stuffy. No free wifi. Personally, I don’t go there anymore because the air doesn’t feel fresh. I’d rather breath fresh, air conditioned air in the general waiting area.

Can’t expect much from a lounge at OGG when we’re more accustomed to the Admirals Clubs at LAX and ORD which are worlds apart. Free coffee and soft drinks and airplane-packaged snacks are what you get. It’s really bare bones. The biggest disappointment was seeing airline staff and ramp employees taking part in the lounges amenities. Isn’t there a staff lounge for that?

have you ever been in an Alaskan Airlines premier lounge? Cause Alaska knows how to do it right. Hawaiian airlines? Not so much. There is a free fountain soda machine. No free liquor or snacks.
