This place never ceases to amaze me with their lack of service. I’ve seen some crazy things in this particular location. Been there 4 times and each time it’s something different. First time, paid an arm and a leg for an ice cream cone while the worker was literally giving free sundaes to her friends. Second time ordering a cake, had another irrate customer complaining about the lack of service from a cake decorator, which by the way was very warranted. Gone in for a cone and had poor customer service, and today called to place an order on a cake and the worker had no clue as to what was going on or when the cake person was coming in. I wish the owners would hire better help and get some stability and training in that building. I know this cannot be acceptable. When you are asking $ 3-$ 7 for a cone or product, you should at least have happy energetic, attentive workers who WANT to help customers and not just their friends.

After lunch treat. dad bough lunch so I treated to an afternoon sweet. When I walked in I wanted to see the available flavors. A lot of them sounded too sweet and geared more for kids. The snickers icecream sounded really tasty but definitely sweet. My dads go to are cherry jubilee and pistachio, which they didn’t have Boo! I ended up trying the ice cream sammich with mint chocolate chip. The cookies I picked were chocolate chip & macadamia nut. I was really disappointed that they just throw it in the microwave to warm it. Not sure how they do it at Baked bear in SD. But I know their cookies look thicker. I could have easily made the same thing at home, myself… but I digress. It was good after a few bites but the sweetness was a little too much. Definitely need some water with. Dad got some strawberry flavor. The waffle cones looked good but not fresh either. Wrapped in plastic makes me question how long it’s been sitting lol

Ice cream. My fave! It’s good when it’s hot. Or cold. Day. Or night. :) This place located at Maui Mall is a nice spot to stop. There’s lots of selections of delicious frozen treats, plenty of parking and indoor seating. There’s a few spots to grab outside as well. We came in right before closing but they happily served us and let us eat while they prepared to close up shop for the night. I came in with hubby + teenager. We all got different flavors and passed them around so we could try. Everything was really delicious. The mint chocolate chip was so good. Always a winner in my book. They had a few fridges and I think there were cakes & other treats available for purchase. I didn’t get a good look though. Prices are decent and quality is good. I’ll definitely come back!

Maui’s sole 31 Flavors location is still going strong I’m guessing, because they’re still open after all these years. I rarely patronize this place because it’s pricey. Why pay $ 5+ for just 2 scoops of ice cream when you can get a whole gallon from the market for the same price? It’s that waffle cone and its aroma that usually changes my budget-conscious mind. The store was dreary and dimly lit. Overall cleanliness was okay. I counted 30 flavors, the majority of them being of the intricate variety with no plain flavors available like chocolate, vanilla, coffee, etc. Many of them had no name or description. To make matters worse, they were out of my favorite, chocolate chip. WTH?! I was in the mood for a waffle cone, and ended up settling for Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough because I love how vanilla ice cream tastes with the cone. The first few bites were delish, but after a while the cookie dough got to be overwhelming and too sweet. I finished the 2 scoops but spooned out the globs of dough. SERVICE: Having only 2 staff members and a menu of difficult-to-make items like shakes and splits can result in a small wait time. OVERALL: The ice cream parlor is a dying breed in Central Maui…

I can’t review the product because we never received any service. There was a line almost out the door and there was only one person working. People didn’t even start tasting flavors until it was their turn to order! Totally ridiculous for a busy place in the mall!

The guy that helped us was really nice. Looked like there was a pregnant lady working there too but she was in the back the entire 30 minutes plus we spent there. If that was the manager she sure wasn’t leading by example. The guy got busy and all and not once did she come out to help him. The guy should be promoted for his excellent customer service and promptness. Many choices of ice cream too.

I would give negative stars if I could… crew was so interested in closing in 40 minutes they didn’t great our party, no samples, no explanations, we wanted to sit down inside but the crew was hurrying to put all the chairs on the tables so wouldn’t sit down inside. We even asked to sit down and they completely ignored our request. This was the rudest bunch of young people I’ve ever encountered in the food industry.
