Huge portions of solid bbq at great prices… What’s not to like! Got the chicken and ribs combo platter with Mac n’ cheese and taters. Chicken was moist and good. Ribs were a little tough but I’m not a big rib fan so probably not the best to judge. Biscuit is almost like a donut and delicious. Only thing lacking is a bar to sit at, but they seem to be trying to attract a family clientele(Toy Story was playing on big screen) so I get that.

I consider myself a grilling aficionado and a pretty good judge of BBQ. I get takeout from here 2 – 3 times a month. My favorite is the 6 rib dinner/with«dry-rub“seasoning only. I always say properly seasoned/smoked meat shouldn’t be covered up with sauce. That’s like putting ketchup on steak. NOT!!! The sides are all homemade and pretty darn good too. I like the mac&cheese and the greens. I would give them a 5 star rating. but then that would push MYBBQ to a 6 and I don’t see a 6 on the ratings scale.

Awesome ribs and chicken. Try the ribs dry. The fried biscuits are a must. Good sides and friendly staff!

The atmosphere is great. Very cute place with lots of character. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was not what I was expecting. I thought it would be more of a sit down restaurant but it is order in line for quick food and then seat yourself to eat. The food was good. I am not a huge smokey BBQ person, so the idea is a bit lost on me. I did eat my entire sandwich which was pulled chicken. The chili was a little too spivey for us.

This location is now open on Sundays! So good ! Hard to understand the negative reviews. Just finished a delicious lunch– pulled pork sandwich, hot links, and chili! We like these so much that we never make it to the rest of the menu though I really want to try the Turkey sandwich next time — smoked turkey, Coleslaw with Bbq sauce sounds awesome ! Not only is the food yummy but the staff couldn’t be nicer, the place couldn’t be cleaner. Almost forgot — awesome iced tea! We drive 90 minutes each way just to get our Mrs. Smokey’s fix and it is so worth the trip!

This place is really good. I have tried BBq in multiple states. FL, NC, GA, IA, TX, AZ, TN, etc. I find that I like Ms. Smokeys the best. Additionally, you will not find a nicer family owned business. Their meats are flavorful and juicy. I think they have the best collard greens ever!

If your in jupiter the only two bbq options are park ave and this place. In my opinion they are both the same. Generic run if the mill bbq. Plain tasteless meat covered in bbq sauce. Sides where average at best. Tots which you can’t mess up… Mac and cheese that was soupy… and a fried dinner roll. For what’s it’s worth you can grab a quick bbq sandwich and be on your way. Best bbq sandwich I’ve had to date up here was at guanabanas.

I came here for lunch and I ordered the lunch special. You basically get a pork or beef sandwich, tater tots, and a drink. Pros: the place was neat and clean and you’re able to get your own refills. Cons: I was not greeted when I walked in and I had to find someone to serve me. I was not offered any specials or any information about any of the food items. I let them know I was new to the restaurant and they still did not assist me in making a choice. When my food came, my sandwich was saturated with barbecue sauce and when I asked a waitress about the reason why It was completely immersed with barbecue sauce, she told me to cut the sandwich in half. Are you serious? I’m telling you that you put way too much barbecue sauce on my sandwich and your answer is to cut the sandwich in half? I can honestly say that I did not taste anything that left me wanting to run back to this restaurant. My food did not taste any different from any other place. I can honestly say that my food left a lot to be desired. There was nothing unique about the food.

Avoid this place if you have ever had real BBQ. Don’t expect Texas or Carolina style BBQ here, it’s a watered down version of ribs, brisket and pulled. The rib tips I ordered were like eating the inside of golf balls, the sauces were thin on flavor and just overly hot. Frozen tater tots just round off the disappointment.

Was craving some BBQ tonight, so my girl friend and I decided to give this place a try(drove 30 minutes north from SoFlo). Unique twist on a family style BBQ restaurant. When we walked in it smelled like a fantastic BBQ pit. The fried biscuits were the best part of the meal– very good tasted like funnel cake. We ordered a half rack of baby back ribs –the meat was a little too dry but had good flavor. The mild sauce was so so and the medium was more than medium in terms of spicy. The brisket sandwich was nothing special– was at the same level as the ribs. The Mac and cheese was good, the tater tots were just tater tots. The sweet tea was good and my girlfriend was happy with the beer selection.

Almost 15 years ago I found Mrs Smokeys on Northlake and found what I thought would be a regular BBQ place for me to hit when I needed my ‘que fix. Before I had a chance to develop an addiction, the restaurant was gone. I later heard that it had been reincarnated in nearby Lake Park, but that area was just a little too far out of the way for me to swing by there and I forgot all about it. Fast forward to now. Mrs Smokeys has opened a place on the shopping center that services Abacoa and the fit seems right. While I was only ordering take out for two people, I still felt I needed to update everyone who likes BBQ. This place is darn good and I recommend it to all you ‘que ballers. I had a pulled pork sandwich with slaw, w the mild/medium spicy sauce and it was gone fast. The meat was tender and everything worked together. The slaw made bun a little soggy on the ride home, but it still held together and the flavor trumped the bun issue. Good stuff. My fries got a ¼ chicken WI slaw and was complete satisfied. We also tried one of the many interesting appetizers, the chili mac. Being a chili freak I was pleasantly surprised at how good the chili was blended with the macaroni. I forgot to get a pile of cheddar on top, but it was still fun and filling. If you like your yoga pants. you might want to bypass the chili mac. The devour is fun with a country western motif, with booths and seating for a good crowd. Decorations were fun and the play western movies on a large projector and screen so you can keep your spuds on an the model train set that travels the circuit around the ceiling will put most crying babies into a coma. I think Mrs Smokey has found a good place to call home for a while. Well done and fun.“to boot!”

I haven’t been in Florida long but found this place via Unilocal.Everything I’ve tried has been great. The fried biscuits are ridiculous! So are the beans. I expect anyone who tries this place will be more than happy with their choice. You can’t go wrong with any of it.

I loved everything we had. We had 2 different orders with 2 meats each(sausage, choped pork, brisket) and 4 different sides so we actually tasted a little of almost everything. The smoked meats are delish! Tender, juicy, sauced perfectly. The sides, where do I start??! The mac n cheese is homemade and it’s obvious. The noodles are not over cooked like pretty much everywhere else I’ve ever been. The cole slaw was refreshing, crunchy and flavorful. Good cole slaw is few and far between and I found it here. The collards are perfect with lots of bacon. Tots were cooked nice and golden crispy. The sauces are awesome. Mild has a great kick to it. And to top it off, Torpedo!

Mrs smokeys rocks, have mostly been to the original in lake park and I like the small location feel but this one is just as good. I’ve tried random bbq spots in other states and Florida isn’t texas or Oklahoma or Kansas City, but mrs smokeys along with 4 rivers in Florida(Orlando) have their special place in my heart(and stomach) The best: I get mild and hot mixed either on the side or on the brisket and pulled pork, the combo of the sauces gives it the right kick and flavor. The baked beans have actual meat and some heat in them which is rare most usually are sweet and taste straight out of a can… These are real baked beans, they taste even better cold out of the fridge. Not joking. My favorite Mac and cheese… That’s quite a claim… My favorite, along with j Alexander’s famous white Mac which is awesome and velveeta shells and cheese. This sauce is the real deal. Would love some crinkle cut French fries and okra as options to the sides but can’t really complain. I prefer the brisket and then the pork and then the ribs, but ribs I like a different way… Think phils bbq in San Diego. But smokeys ribs are legit too if you like them more smokey. Overall this place is good, the local lake park one has a reputation built as the best bbq in the area, the harsh reviews on the new location seem unjustified.

First of all I didn’t get the concept of smoked bbq when ordering. That was my naïveté and inexperience with bbq. I was really disappointed when I ate their pulled chicken sandwich. The meat was not pulled in a traditional way instead they left it as strips. Imo your asking for the meat to fall off the sandwich if you leave strips as long as they did. My bun was soggy and falling apart when my husband came back with the food. The tater tots I had were great! Fried just the way I liked them. I went back and asked for a new sandwich which they obliged to. The manager was really nice to me and helped explain why this bbq was different and why my bun fell apart. I really appreciated that. I’d say you should try it just make sure you know what ur getting. The manager was nice, the tots were good and good customer service. Just not for me.

This is my first visit to this location and my 2nd in total. This is a good place with good food. Not my favorite, but I will probably eat here once a year or so. I had the brisket sandwich with mild sauce and Bbq beans. The brisket was lean and fairly flavorful. The beans were on the spicy side, which is not hinted at in the menu, which is a photocopy. The 4 sauces, apparently are all the same basic sauce at varying degrees of spiciness; at leas from the description. I prefer to have more variety in terms of the base(vinegar, mustard, sweet, paprika). The restaurant uses plastic or paper for everything. No glass, metal tableware or plies. Paper plates, styrofoam dishes, plastic forks, etc. Somehow, it bothered me a little. I think the thing that bothered me the most was the fact that EVERY customer, including myself that walked in missed the little tray of black and white, photocopied menus near the front door. That immediately gives some customers the feeling of «how am I supposed to order?» Then, you look around, feeling foolish and discover they were immediately inside the door with no sign or anything. Same kind of thing with the utensils… they were sort of out of the way, so you may have to get up and go all the way to the back to get a fork. Now, they deliver your food to the table, but without napkins or utensils, so you have to look around again. Also, instead of asking your name and making you feel a bit more welcome the assign you a «cowboy name.» Mine was Buffalo Bill, I think. What’s up with that? It’s the customers job to remember their assigned names. Kind of childish I think. So, some kinks to work out. Oh yeah, I sampled the potato salad which was pretty good too onion-y for me.

I am updating my review, because in just a short time, this place has gone downhill. The first time I came it was great, second time– meh, third time– meh. Vegetables were canned(obvious from the discoloration), or they were old. Layoff all the Styrofoam. Sure it’s cheap, but there are better options,

Nice western theme including cowboy movies playing on the wall from a projector. Friendly, efficient service. That’s about the end of the positives for me. The pork and brisket were both chopped. I prefer pulled pork and my brisket sliced pencil thick, not chopped. The mac and cheese was tasty, but not memorable, same with the slaw. I’d say considering Jupiter’s lack of good ‘que, this is among the best of the worst, but against all of the bbq I’ve experienced I’d give it a 5(out of 10).
