DeVries Moving and Storage

DeVries did an amazing job. Eric came in to estimate and provided us with a realistic cost and offered to drop off boxes in advance for our portion of the self pack. We took advantage of their friendly service. Moving day went off exactly as planned. The crew were «Rock Stars»!
They were extremely professional and worked hard to cater to our personal needs and requests. Angela runs the office and provides excellent communication. Who kidding who. Moving is no fun, but DeVries made our experience as good as it gets. I highly recommend DeVries!

I hate moving. I’ve moved many times (across the country and locally), and am usually underwhelmed with movers that I’ve hired. It was great experience with this crew. They were thorough, on time and ended up coming in a few hundred dollars under their estimate. I’ve never had this happen. I’ll be using them again.

stated one price, up charged from quote, would not answer my calls about the matter…
lied about his movers being full time employees, their pace was «slower than a turtle».
so much wasted time, with little energy… horrible experience.

They must have tried to damage as many pieces as possible. That is what I thought when my furniture was delivered. And by the way after 4 months still missing pieces.
All four dining rm. chairs and table gouges and scrapes, hutch 8 in gouge. Couch wood arm broken. Two Living rm lamps smashed, desk chair leg broken off. The list goes on and on. I have moved many times with other movers without problems did not think I needed to over insure. Did’t think they could do this much damage .I have never given a bad review before I just expect that people try there best. I was wrong ! Spoke to Eric the owner he said he would personally take care of this problem. Never heard from him again. It seems he just A frontman for Wheaton Van Lines. That is who I had to deal with. They gave me $ 134.00 for a house full of damaged furniture .If you want your belongings treated like garbage. Hire DeVries and Wheaton. Gave one star because You have to.

I wholeheartedly recommend DeVries Moving and Storage. I used them for the first time three years ago when I relocated my office from WPB to Boca. The movers showed up on time and completed the move under the estimated time. I found the workers to be professional and extremely hard working and efficient. This past summer I again hired DeVries for my personal move. Again, the experience was extremely positive. All my personal possessions were handled with care.

If you care about your personal belongings, I urge you not to contract with Devries Moving & Storage of Jupiter! Terrible experience, and I will be contacting an attorney to recover my losses.
My furniture and household items were stored at Devries facility for about a year, in a supposedly climate-​controlled space.

When Devries moved everything into my new house, we encountered the following problems:
–The movers did not protect the new carpet, resulting in serious stains and soiling
–There was extensive moisture damage to the diningroom table
–Several pieces of furniture were damaged
–Several boxes are missing
–75% of the pieces to a $ 5,000 chandelier are missing
–The beds were improperly assembled
The damage to the furniture far exceeds the amount of the moving bill. Eric Devries, the owner, is refusing to take responsibility for the damages.
