Navajo Joe, Paul Crewe, Lewis(from Deliverance), Bandit, J.J. McClure, Judge Walter Burns. In other words… Burt freakin’ Reynolds. First off… Finding this little treasure was not easy. With the assistance of a GPS we were directed to turn into a gated community. Now I am sure Burt’s house is beautiful. but I doubted his min. security museum was in a small residential space. So lost and desperate, I asked the security guard for help and she laughed at me. But she told me it happens ALLTHETIME. She was then nice enough to point us in the right direction and once we got back on track we were on our way to Burt Reynolds heaven. We got there and were warmly greeted by two of the sweetest old ladies ever. I mean it, they were saints. Linda was our tour guide and she gave us a brief tour of the facility, then we were on our own to roam and reminisce all things BR. While on the tour they put in a VHS of all his highlights, so it was nice to hear the sounds as we snooped around. The stuff in the museum is basically Burt Reynolds’ whole life. He lives out in Jupiter FL so this is his storage facility where people can go and check it out. There are pictures of his family, his friends, his sports collectibles, movie props and so much more. There is also a small studio in there as well where Burt Reynolds and friends teach up and coming actors. Burt Reynolds even has his own man cave office there. I certainly could have spent hours looking over everything. Linda offered to put on a Burt Reynolds movie of our choosing and we could have even watched the whole movie there. — It was such an enjoyable experience, they don’t rush you out at all. The only thing that could have been better was meeting Burt himself. **Unfortunately I learned that the museum will need to be relocated to Burt Reynolds Park as the current grounds will soon be used for a new hotel. Sad to see it go, but as long as all the stuff moves with it– Burt Reynolds will live on.

I’m a fan of Burt Reynolds films. Friends have told me to go and check out Mr. Reynolds’ museum in beautiful Jupiter, FL. Right on the corner of US1 and Indiantown Road is a gem you have to see about the life and times of Mr. Reynolds through his films, photographs and memorabilia. The only downside is that you won’t see is «Trigger», the 1977 Trans-AM featured in the Smokey and The Bandit film(it needs refurnishing and is currently in storage). You can be easily there for 2 hours watching all of his accomplishments. When you’re in the community, you sense the love they have for this man. Don’t forget to check out his park just north of the place over the bridge. They’ll be moving the museum and institute at the park in the near future. Enjoy!

If you are in town, you’ve got to check this place out. Awesome. No idea BR had been in so many films and shows. Great memories came from remembering al those great movies and lines. When you cant spend another minute on the beach or on the water, take a break and treat yourself to an hour or so here.

My friends were vacationing in Jupiter(I crashed their holiday) and little did I know that Burt Reynolds hails from this sleepy town… we went to the museum(after driving past about four times trying to find the entrance to the parking lot…) I didn’t realize his body of work — it’s massive! As Sergio noted, Jo was cantankerous and ornery as ever(she was behind the gift counter when we visited… she seemed very put out by our desire to purchase souvenirs — they DON’T sell the life-sized cardboard cutouts, by the way… but you’re allowed to take pictures with them). This is such a weird little place, but I highly recommend stopping by if you’re ever in the Palm Beach area.

No one’s reviewed the Burt Reynolds Museum??? I think the name of the place says it all. I went here because it sounded ridiculous. Little did I know that Burt Reynolds has contributed a lot to the little town of Jupiter, Florida – hence, there is a museum! I was impressed by the sizeable museum. I do believe it is larger than the Elvis-A-Rama museum in Las Vegas. A very cranky lady name Jo demanded the five dollar entrance fee be paid upon entry. I suspect she deals with a lot of jackasses throughout here shift. Although I arrived at the place snickering, in the end I thought the museum was pretty cool. I didn’t realize how many movies Mr. Reynolds has actually been in.
