Ended up at Econolodge after the hotel up the street would not answer the bell very pleased with this place rooms are a little dated but other than that the service at the front desk is great instant hot water in the showers would stay here again

Reasonable price, quiet rooms, friendly desk staff. It was an easy on/​off I-​70 so it fit our needs.

Rooms are big and clean.
Fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Flat screen tv with cable.
Walls are a bit thin, limited outlets and knobs are loose.
Decent price.
The laundry is pretty loud though outside. No key card needed to get in.

I’ve started travelling for work and staying in some cheap hotels. For some reason hotels in Manhattan, Kansas are at least $ 80 even when nothing is happening. What is Kansas State famous for anyways, Michael Beasley? I’d rather have Jacob Pullen (WHAT UP MAYWOOD!). Kansas State isn’t that great of a school, lets get some affordable hotel rooms in town, but I digress. This was a decent place to stay about 15 minutes from Manhattan for about 50 bucks. The manager was very friendly and I got to watch the Curb Your Enthusiasm première. There was a new granite countertop in the bathroom but the toilet tank was cracked and sealed with caulk. Their wifi connection was decent and the price was right.
