SAVEYOURTIMEANDDONOTGOHERE. Terrible service, guy had pants sagging exposing his hairy bum. Super rude. Food served WAYOUT of order. Been waiting for more than half an hour and still haven’t received food. Would not go here again. Why is this place even still running?! Ruins the Julian vibe.

My daughter stopped there with her school volleyball team this evening, and the man taking the orders was EXTREMELYRUDE to the kids. Not to mention, forgetting the kids orders. He even started talking about one of the girls mother! I have never in my life received such terrible service!

This is it! This is your best(nay, only) option in Warner Springs since the CC closed, so prepare to ENJOY! Basic, Midwestern style Mexican and Pizza joint. Plentiful and passable, it will keep you fueled if you’re halfway between Palm Springs and San Diego. Spices are sparing but the pot roast tacos have plenty of Wisconson cheese and chopped lettuce. Likewise, the bean and cheese burrito is beany and cheesy. Pizza was not too spicy for a 5-year-old palate. The dining room was clean and bright. The bathroom would benefit from some Fantastic and paper towel time. If you’re local, staff will greet you warmly and enthusiastically. If you’re not, expect much less. You’re driving a rental and never coming this way again, so why expend the energy? Will we stop here again? If we forget to eat before leaving home, we will!

Great Pizza and Mexican food and a family owned and operated bussiness. You get the feel like your at someone’s home eating. Super friendly and just a great place all around.

Tried this place last night. Ordered beef tacos and chips and guacamole. Guacamole was just mashed up avocados but at least it was sort of fresh. The tacos were AWFUL. Nearly inedible actually. Had I not been ravenously hungry I would have tossed them after the first bite. As it was I forced myself to suffer through 1 ½ tacos full of «beef» that tasted how you would imagine old dishwater tastes. Bland, boring, lukewarm nastiness. Better to try the Fajitas Grill. They were already closed when we rolled into town last night but, the two times I have tried them, the food was surprisingly flavorful, extremely plentiful and pretty inexpensive. Pancho Villas, on the other hand, charged us TWENTY-FIVEDOLLARS for 4 crumby tacos, chips with guac, and 2 sodas! Never going back.

I’ve probably ridden by this place ten times and finally stopped… boy am I glad! The service was excellent and the carnitas enchiladas were insane! Home made sauce and huge portion… enough for two. Full bar and excellent selection of Mexican beer… don’t pass Pancho’s by if you’re hungry or thirsty! Wendy the owner is a sweetheart and will make your experience a pleasant one. Thank you!!!

I have eaten here several times. Pizza is very good and priced right. The Mexican food is not as good as the pizza but still good. The Greek salad dressing is definately something to write home about. VERY good!!! In response to a previous review by Magnolia S. I think she has the wrong restaurant. The picture is not of Pancho Villa’s pizza place and it isn’t even close to Big Bear Mountain.

Just passing through Warner Springs, and starving, we found a little gem in the(literally) middle of nowhere! Excellent food, really excellent salsa. Considering there’s not much competition, the quality of the food was better than in not-so-nearby Temecula. Staff was friendly, and again, the homemade salsa was 5 stars. The atmosphere could be spruced up a bit.

Disgusting! The food is terrible here! We ordered a pizza and taquitos and request that we received the taquitos before the pizza came; however, the group that ordered after us got all their food before we received anything. When we asked about our taquitos, the cook did not know anything about it. There was only two people working in the entire place… the owner’s son and the cook. The owner’s son told us that the cook dropped the ball, but he did not apologize to us and he was in a way, taking out his frustrations out on us, because the cook screwed up… or at least he was showing attitude. Very very unprofessional and rude. You can tell he has not desire to work there and is not great with customer service. The pizza was disgusting! Let me put it this way… I would eat at Little Cesar’s before ever eating here again. A large pizza runs over $ 22 and it tasted like the most horrible ingredients ever! Hardly, hardly, hardly any sauce! Also, a small cup of soda is $ 2.50 and there are no free refills! Oh, the taquitos and pizza were delivered to us at the same time… thank you for that. Enjoy the tip that was left you beforehand… how unfortunate. Here is a thought… don’t put your son in charge of the family business, because his heart is not into it AND you scare customers away! I wish I could say you get what you pay for, but in the case, you pay a lot and you get crumby tasting food! Shame! The only think this place as got going for it, is that when all of Julian closes at 5pm, this place stays open late! However, I would just soon eat from the dumpster, before ever eating here again.
