Midway has become one of my favorite places! It’s convenient in location and prices are great. I love that there’s a bar in the back where you can kick back a few and unwind. My favorite local bar!

This place is really great. You can find just about everything in the store different types of wines and beers and the hard stuff too. If it’s a specialty wine you’re looking for and they don’t have it, they can direct you to where you can find it. I like being able to special order my wine from them and they get your order filled quickly. I would highly recommend this establishment. Bottoms up

Midway has been the local place to go for amazing prices and selection for over two decades for me. Add to that Stan… The owner… Who is there most days and is so into his craft (bourbon at the moment) he literally gets excited about talking to customers about the products. So as you might expect, they stock an awesome selection of bourbons!
Friendly… Best prices in town… Best selection… The kind of place you go to forever as long as you are able! Go… You will forever see other liquor stores as inferior regardless of their marketing value.

This liquor store is fully stocked & the employees are ultra friendly. Especially the female mgr there.
Also one time we needed a place to park so me & my friends could go diving in the gunpowder river down the street and the owner said no problem just park in the back.
Excellent customer service & Nice owners… A++++

Midway is my immediate for stop for all my beer, wine and liquor purchases. They have a very wide selection and variety with prices that beat most other liquor stores. The staff is very friendly and willing to help your need/request. Great selection of domestics, imports and micro-brews.

I ran out of Marsala wine to cook my portabella mushrooms in. My wife loves my mushroom… s with wine!
I have to disagree with George, Midway is not average. They have a large selection of wine and beer, as well as liquors. My family has used Midway for several weddings and something you don’t see often, the ability to return unopen bottles of wine and liquor for a refund.
Not only do they carry domestic (which by the way means more than Bud, Miller, & Coors… don’t forget Yuingling and Sam Adams, neither of which are considered microbrews or craft brews), but they have a fair assortment of biers & wines from around the world.
They happen to carry two of my favorite Reislings: Château Ste Michelle (on sale now for $ 6) & Boordy Vinyards. Every Octoberfest season they carry a really fine assortment of Bock and Double Bock biers from the old country.
Ein groß Bier, bitte! (a large beer please!).

This is your average liquor store. They have a decent selection of both beer, wine and spirits. Their wine specialist is very knowledgeble and helpful when you have questions.
I have found their prices on beer to be some of the best in Harford county. The lady with the beret who works the cash register needs to get the stick removed from her rear. They could do without her. To call her «unfriendly» would be an understatement.

I’m a wine-o. I geek wine all the time. My fiancée has been going to Midway for about 4 years and I have tagged along a few times. We went again today to pick up some wine and I was totally impressed by the amount of wine knowledge that Stan has!
We talked about the wine economy (bad — great deals for us consumers), South Africa wine (he’s going this year), Spanish wine (he is going to hook me up with somone in Jerez in order to taste sherry). This is the kind of wine expertise that I expect at a wine shop — but rarely get. If you’re looking for someone that knows wine, go see Stan!
