Pizza Hut

I am conflicted how to rate this particular location. In the past, my orders have been great. Food is hot, fast, and correct.
Except for the last time I ordered.
The delivery girl was polite and bubbly. But our order wasn’t correct. Maybe it was my own fault for not checking before she drove away but I don’t feel I should have to. Especially not from this location. Perhaps now I will.
We ordered 2 medium, 2-​topping pizzas, wings, and breadsticks. The wings were fine. As were the breadsticks aside from the ice cold sauce. Pizza #1 was to be regular crust, extra sauce. Pizza #2 was to be pretzel crust, regular sauce/​toppings. They were backwards. Pizza #1 had little sauce and Pizza #2 had regular crust and extra sauce. Not to mention the extra sauce was slopped onto one half of the pizza as if it had fallen off the table or in the car. Food was hot and fast but we were extremely disappointed with the presentation. As I said, I guess we’ll just have to start checking up front from now on.

This is the slowest Pizza Delivery I have ever had. Their orders are taken by a call center in Springfield, Mo who really has no idea what is going on in Joplin and it has so far taken over 2 ½ hours to get a pizza delivered. Can’t wait to see how bad the food is after all this time. Will NEVER call this store again. Food finally arrives, it’s cold of course.

This building was destroyed in the Joplin tornado. They rebuilt and reopened but are now offer delivery or carry-​out only.

This Pizza Hut location used to be a family favorite, but has really declined over the past decade. I find their pizza quality and amount of toppings (especially cheese) to be VERY inconsistent from visit to visit, to the point that we have stopped ordering Pizza Hut completely. Their «buffet» usually consists of 4 pizzas and they stop refilling the buffet 30 minutes before lunch ends… what? This location in particular is in dire need of a serious remodel as it looks the same as it did in the late 1980’s and seems to have been last deep cleaned around the same time.
