The check-in process was horrible. The line was mostly people complaining of lost reservations or room problems. The first room they gave us only had a single double sized bed in it even though we reserved a king. The process to get this fixed made us start booking a room somewhere else, but we made the mistake of staying. The room we finally got had a disgusting bath tub and the toilet barely worked. The bed only had two thin sheets on it, no blanket or comforter at all. Do not stay here.

This was the worst hotel stay ever! Do not stay here!!! The water was brown an their was ants in the breakfast The only reason why I gave it one star because Unilocal wouldn’t let me post without it.

Nice place to stay for a cheap price. Room was clean getting ready to try the breakfast. Has a pool hot tub and workout room.

Older hotel, very clean and quiet. Not fancy– but had a mini fridge, microwave, etc. Good bed and I slept well.

«Updated» in 2012 to maintain the Holiday Inn branding. Sold in 2013& changed to a brand with cheaper franchise fees. The biggest issue now is the lack of quality management that no doubt comes from a lack of quality ownership. Friendly but poorly trained staff. Breakfast is always a debacle. Workout room was always locked during peak usage time(6−8am). And they shut down the bar… Who lets go of a liquor license in a dry county?!

My husband’s iPad was stolen out of his hotel room this week while he was at work. Apparently the maid entered his room before she clocked in, and there is a big and almost definite chance that she is the culprit. However, the hotel refuses to reimburse us for our loss, even though they have fired the maid(which to me, is admitting fault). We were also lied to when the manager told us that the camera lens was too foggy and it didn’t record anything of use. Come to find out, their cameras don’t record anything at all, they are just pretty pictures to look at from her office, I guess. My husband has been talking to said manager and various other employees of the hotel for days, trying to convince them that they should take this seriously. This was not just some toy my husband used when he was bored, it was something that I, as his wife, saved for on a teachers salary, and gave to him for our first year anniversary. I have been calling trying to get in touch with corporate offices and the manager. No one will answer my calls. I find it very unprofessional that this is not being taken seriously. Since when is it ok for someone to just take what they please?

They have obviously just taken this place over from another motel chain and nothing has been improved. The non smoking room smelled so smoky I probably got cancer, but the bed was soft and the shower water pressure was nice. Breakfast was great. There was a hot buffet of choices, a server and they had a kitchen for making omelets per your request. It almost made up for the smoky room.
