Took the kids and they enjoyed it. They have inflated floatables to climb in the water along with three slides. They also have shaded areas that you can rent out. Nice little man-made beach in my opinion.

Who knew! A couple of friends planned a BBQ for my birthday at «Atlanta Beach» as they called it. I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Amazing! But, I cannot stand flies! Not sure why there were so many flies around before the food was even finished. I went to the nearest Kroger a couple of miles up the road and got some stuff to combat the flies. The police road through a few times, so there is plenty of security, and it is family friendly. The employees are knowledgeable and very nice. Once we finished the BBQ in the park we went to the beach part. The water slides are so much fun! It brought the kid out of all of us! There was also a DJ playing music. It was almost like being on a Gulf Coast beach only without the sharks. This place is a hidden gem! We loved it. Thinking about going back this weekend.

Venue: Clayton County International Park Décor: Park Service: Ok, could be somewhat better by the staff Environment: Park, trees, camp grounds, trails, beach, fitness room Food: N/A Prices: $ 11 adult for entry. even less for the kids Debbie Downers: The Music(to a degree) Conclusion: Definitely a fan of this place. This is an alternative to going to Lake Lanier, Tanner Park or Callaway. It serves its purpose. Located in the Metro Atlanta area where you can get bike trails, running paths, camp grounds to bbq along a lake, private beach. It is a good spot to chill & relax. It is great for family gatherings(BBQs, family reunions). Has a private beach which was clean. A great place to bring the kids to give them something to do during the summer. The only knock I do have and it is a minimum one is in my debbie downer section. Perhaps it is a one time deal, I don’t know but i could do without a live DJ by the beach area. Maybe that’s me, i rather have no loud music at a beach. Overall, this place is a gem. It isn’t overly crowded and people come here to kick it and have a good time. Recommended! Overall: A–

Love this place. We only have visited the beach portion of the park. But there is plenty of other things to do. Great for my family and affordable. Staff and lifeguards are nice. They have a kiddie pool and a fake beach with four water slides. There is something for the entire family. You pay one price and can go on anything. We went on a Wednesday and it wasn’t that crowded which was great. I’ll be back.

This is a great park for bike riding, walking your dog, and bringing your kids. It’s actually located in Jonesboro Georgia, not Atlanta. There is also two lakes/ponds, tennis courts, water park, miniature golf, and a senior center. Seriously. I’m not lying. I love it. Seems that not many people know the awesomeness of this park. I’m totally fine with that. more room for me =0) oh, there is also a fitness center.
