We drove from Choctaw after a Football game traveling back to OKC to eat at Roosters. Unilocal says hours are open until 9. We arrived at 7:54 and they were closed. When I called and asked if they closed early they answered, yes… 5 minutes early.

This place was amazing!!! The name drew me here! I am a roosterholic!!! The chicken fried chicken, chicken fried steak and okra were delish! Not to mention the Philly steak sandwich and livers were a hit with our fam bam!!! We will definitely eat here again!!!

If you enjoy mom and pop diner with roosters on the walls, shelves, and surprised they don’t have pics of roosters on the ceiling. The place needs some painting on the ceiling… there are stains from the days when smoking was allowed. The food is awesome. Don’t come to eat small portions.

The chicken fried steak is amazing !! And huge the full order covers the entire dinner sized plate. Me and my mother split it and there was still plenty to take home. There vegetables are also really good. Also I love their pancakes !! All around good home cookin food
