West Fitness Center

I love this place! It’s my therapy place! They have all the equipment for some good workouts and they offer a variety of classes. Yoga is my favorite here.

Due to my job I have to work in DC from time to time which takes me near Andrews AFB. One of the highlights is getting a chance to go to this gym. The cardio equipment is connected to the cable system so it is a bit of a cardio theatre to keep you from getting bored. I just discovered today there is another weight area I never knew about. Sweet. There is a great deal of cardio equipment so there has never been a time I had to wait on someone to get done. Best part about this place is that it is free. They also do a great job of getting equipment fixed when compared to many other military gyms.

One if my favorite gyms and I belong to many! My father in law gets me on base to work out whenever I want since he’s retired.
I like it here because everyone is about business and really works out versus all that chit chatting that drives me nuts!
They renovated not too long ago and now have an even larger space, do you never have to wait for machines to become available which is a huge plus.
Lots of really buff men and women here as a result of being in the military which is motivating to a civilian like me!

Great gym for those that need to get their swole on! I came here while i was visiting Andrews and needed somewhere to get my workout on. It was plenty big and had all the machines that I needed to accomplish my goals. There is a nice big basketball court, weight room and cardio room. The locker room is a bit small, but im not trying to hang out in it anyway.
The staff is nice and they keep the place failry clean. it was a hot day but the gym was nice and cool. The parking is a bit rough in the afternoon so be prepared to walk a bit to get to the gym from your car. Oh, there are baseball fields and running tracks outside, if you are into that kind of stuff.
